Koča odraža čas med svetovnima vojnama, kajti nad njo je potekala Rapalska meja (1920). Nudi vso potrebno komoditeto in čar minulega časa. Nahaja se v območju Nature 2000, katero se stika z Regijskim parkom Snežnik.
