Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Wabasha County

We were very comfortable in this home. Right off of the Great River Road, this was an ideal base to explore cute towns and hiking trails nearby and return for quiet, peaceful evenings with gorgeous river view and working wood stove. Cozy! Agree with other guests that we couldn’t tell it is a dog friendly rental, but our two labs were happy there and loved watching the birdlife outside!

Aptly referred to as the perched cabin, we enjoyed watching the barges on Lake Pepin, the trains passing along the river’s edge and the eagles soaring above us, all from our perch above the lake. The porch provided fantastic views. We will visit again.

Our second stay here and we enjoyed it immensely both times. Nicely decorated, very roomy, clean and tidy with all necessities. Will consider staying again. Douglas was very helpful and let us check in early. Thank you!

A beautiful place to stay! We loved the view of the lake and how close it was to restaurants. We always look for places with a good table to play games with 8-10 people and this was perfect for us. Eric & Sandy were very attentive and mindful of what we may need. Hoping to stay here again sometime in the future!

We had a great time checking out all of the little towns along the way, great architecture all around, and watching the shipping barges on the lake. If you are not used to noise, then this might not be the place for you since there is a train track alongside the property- it did not bother us at all since we are used to city noise. They did provide a little container of ear plugs for the noise but we didn't need them.

Cute cottage was a perfect weekend getaway. Cute town that was walkable from the cottage.

We would highly recommend Perry's home in Wabasha. It is in a fabulous location overlooking the river & the Eagle Center. The home is charming & we LOVED sitting on the patio on a beautiful May weather day! The home is extremely clean & well kept. Perry was wonderful during our stay - provided dinner recommendatons & made sure we were able to easily check in/out. We will definitely look forward to staying here again!

Overall it was a great stay! We knew this prior to arrival, but it’s worth noting that the level where you enter the residence has a good amount of steps in order to reach the main living area. We were in Lake City for a wedding so that meant armful’s of things up and back down the stairs. Just be careful! House was well stocked, clean and comfortable. The view of the lake from the residence was a bonus!

We stayed here with our bridal party and used the home to get ready for our wedding. There was ample space for everyone to sleep, hangout and get ready. The space was beautiful, clean and Brittany left us the sweetest message and gift. I would HIGHLY recommend this stay in Pepin, WI. Great host and amazing home!
