Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Wabasha County

The views out the front windows were probably the best part of this place. I LOVED waking up in the morning to see the river, flocks of various kinds of birds, barges and the occasional train. We had all the amenities we needed, plenty of beds (we had 6 teen girls that LOVED being able to sleep in the same room upstairs with the twins and rollaway), and although there is not much to do in the immediate vicinity, there there are plenty of options for cute towns and lots of hiking nearby. We chose to go into Winona and do the Sugar Loaf hike, then got ice cream and shopped in town. After checking out, we hit Stockholm, WI, which was also enjoyable. Everyone in our crew loved this place. Greg was super responsive (and patient with me asking about the Wifi...I realized later it was already in his instructions). Great experience!

We were very comfortable in this home. Right off of the Great River Road, this was an ideal base to explore cute towns and hiking trails nearby and return for quiet, peaceful evenings with gorgeous river view and working wood stove. Cozy! Agree with other guests that we couldn’t tell it is a dog friendly rental, but our two labs were happy there and loved watching the birdlife outside!

Very easy to find. Good parking spot. All up to date, modern amenities.

Joe's place was perfect for us. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need for our meals. We enjoyed using the grill and hanging out on the deck and porch. Joe went above and beyond in his responses and so pleasant and understanding. He had great suggestions of things to do in the area. We would highly recommend his airbnb.

Kaitlyn was very responsive to the issue with the toilet plumbing. she had a plumber out there on Friday night after hours and again on Saturday to fix the issue. we finally had a working toilet. With having 8 women in the house this was definitely a pain, but she kept in touch with me as to what was going on. the beds were so comfortable!!!! She was a super host and we would stay there again!

Melissa’s house was a great place to decompress. We took full advantage of the board games and relaxing atmosphere, and loved being able to walk a few blocks to get ice cream and enjoy the surroundings.

The view was amazing. Breanna was very responsive. The stay was comfortable.

Wow….what a beautiful place. Everyone commented how nice and ‘hygge’ everything felt. We were 3 adults with 4 teens and the place was just perfect. Definitely a perfect 10. We’re already planning a return visit.

I stayed at The Blue Iris Marigold apartment for an extended period of time. It was exactly what I was looking for. Cozy, relaxing, comfortable, easy to walk everywhere. I'll stay again should the need arise. Julia was a wonderful host.

We had a wonderful stay at Mary's Airbnb in Pepin! Mary was such a thoughtful host - she was easy to communicate with and even brought us a cribbage set to enjoy during our stay. The place was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable night by the lake. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to unwind with a beautiful view. Welcome to the PERFECT outdoorsman’s cabin. With so many out-door opportunities to engage in, in the Alma area, this cottage is perfect. It’s close to the river, close to the Stockholm Pie Co., and it’s also secluded and private. Look no further for the perfect place to stay, whether you’re getting away for a weekend of fishing or want to come out and ride on real, active, horse farm!

I cannot say enough great things about this home. It was spotless one of the cleanest places we’ve stayed. The beds were all super comfy, we all slept so well. Every detail was covered. The only place we’ve stayed where all of the light switches were labeled. It was so easy to move in and feel at home in a minute. Super cute decorations and homey. Colleen should write a book to other rental homes, she nailed it. The location was perfect, quite at the end of the culdesac, great fire pit, could walk to the winery and so private. I cannot recommend this place enough. We are planning to make this an annual trip, it was one of my favorites.

We needed to move vacation houses due to some crazy weather and flooding in the general area. Barrett's place was exactly what we needed. It had plenty of space to walk the dog near the river, the beds were super comfy, the internet was great, and the host was super responsive to my questions!

This place is perfect for people who want to stay in a cabin, but arent comfortable with being in a secluded/wooded area. The cabins were right in the middle of a small, quiet lake front neighborhood. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely be back.

Fabulous location and made us feel like we were at home. Close to the winery where the wedding we were attending was located. Great space to entertain our friends before the festivities. Everything we needed was provided. Eric and Amanda were quick to communicate with us when we had questions. Would stay here again if in the area.

We had a great experience even in the midst of the winter storms. Our cabin was so cute and stayed warm and cozy. Greg was very helpful and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We will definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay! Very clean and relaxing and it was exactly as the listing described. Denel was very accommodating and we highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a lake house getaway!

The cottage was perfect for my needs. Will definitely look to stay there again next year.
