Monthly Rentals in Wairakei

We really rated the attention to every detail at the Cool Down Room. Beautiful garden, clean, well thought out, dog friendly and lovely hosts. We felt at home and relaxed. Really close to Wairakei hot pools (my favourite). Close enough to Taupō while still being a peaceful life style block. Ticked all the boxes for us, really recommend this as a place to stay 🙂

Kelly and Max were fantastic hosts and very accommodating :) Their place is within easy access to the beach/marina, the convenience store, and a very nice trail - it was perfect for our time in Kinloch!

Good nights sleep in a peaceful location. 10 minutes off the highway. No TV so relaxed and made apple crumble and played card games. Was the perfect spot to lay our heads for the night and arrived in plenty of time before dark so could enjoy the sunset colours and cows on the hills, and stroll down the driveway and little glade.

What a super place to overnight on our journey. The accommodation exceeded our expectations, comfy bed, lovely linen and Charlotte even provided beds and blankets for our doggies. This was so thoughtful and there were further thoughtful touches and gestures. Fabulous shower too. The fully fenced enclosed garden was wonderful for the dogs and peace of mind for us. Beautiful and peaceful surrounds. Thank you, great experience.
