“We enjoyed a lovely one night stay. It was a great location for us as we wanted to cycle and walk around Rutland water which was very easy to get to. The communication ahead of time was really helpful and check-in was very easy. It was our first trip away since the covid-19 lockdown and everything felt very safe and extremely clean. It's a really nice place to stay. Very comfortable and cosy, and the kitchen has everything you need. We would loved to have stayed longer and look forward to coming back sometime.”
A private studio flat with kitchen and bathroom and secure gated parking close to Stamford. The flat is a 5 to 10 minute walk to The George depending on your pace and Stamford Town Center is a further 5 minutes. The entrance to Burghley Park is also very close within walking distance. Ideally placed for weekend breaks and weddings and for business travellers looking for easy access to transport routes like the A1 yet based close to the beautiful historic Stamford.
“The flat was very tidy, well furnished and clean. It was above our expectations and in a very good location - A couple of minutes away from Stamford and near Burghley House. Would highly recommend”
Gorgeous converted stable building with private access and south facing patio space in a picturesque village. Lovely living space with kingsize bed upstairs and en suite bathroom. Simba bed with White Company bedding. Flat screen TV. Well equipped kitchen. Perfect place to escape to for a country weekend - walks in Fineshade Wood, cycling/sailing at Rutland Water or shopping in historic Stamford. Treat yourself to supper at Hambleton Hall or a gastropub.
“Becky's place was just right. My boyfriend and I needed somewhere to stay and work while we waited out the quarantine period. Becky was extremely responsive and thoughtful. The place had everything we needed to cook every meal. The biggest bonus was the walks in the surrounding area. Gorgeous, well marked public footpaths and walks through the woods allowed us to get fresh air and stay safe. The town itself is clearly well loved and taken care of – I was charmed. And I couldn't get enough of the brown seeded bread from the bakery (even though we didn't get to go in).”
