Welcome to the holiday idyll on the edge of the forest. The property is located on our property, surrounded by the unique nature of Mecklenburg Switzerland. Nestled in the hilly landscape, you will find pure relaxation here. The building complex consists of a large sleeping and living yurt and a cottage, in which the fully equipped kitchen and the bathroom with warm water are located. Enjoy the moments in the sauna, by the pond, by the campfire, in the hammock or in the flower garden.

Guest apartment in the manor house

Relax with us, linger in the estate park and enjoy the time. The approx. 65 m2 apartment is located on the east side on the upper floor of the historic manor house, which is gradually reconstructed. Guests are welcome to access the terrace. There is a grill ready for the evening, and there is a fire pit. Through our orchard you can get to the Trebel, where you can fish, experience nature or use a paddle boat. Bassendorf is a rural idyll that you can reach via a 2 km long avenue.

Self-sufficient shepherd's wagon with fireplace can be used all year round

A cozy self-sufficient construction trailer with solar, fireplace and dry separation toilet on its own meadow with 6 sheep and views of the vastness of Mecklenburg. The sheep do not have to be in your area. On request, they can also be moved to the back meadow. In the meadow is a separate fireplace, seating and outdoor shower. In cold weather, you can shower in our house. For wellness, we have a sauna & hot tub in our garden area. The kitchen is fully equipped.

In the evening you can sit comfortably by the fire or read a book on the comfortable couch with a glass of wine. From Groß Markow you can explore the surroundings by bike or by car. The place lies between Lake Kummerow and Lake Teterow. The Baltic Sea can be reached in just an hour.

"Kontor" for 2 in the post-socialist manor house

-Winter break from 22 December 25-5 April 26- The "Kontor" is a spacious, stately apartment with dilapidated charm for 2 people, located in the right wing, on the ground floor of the house. I acquired the manor house in Kobrow in 2011 with the aim of reviving and thereby preserving a small piece of our country's cultural heritage. Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. The mobile home is located on a natural property in a village of 50 inhabitants on the edge of Mecklenburg Switzerland. The Baltic Sea is just under an hour away and in the immediate vicinity, various lakes invite you to swim as well as meadows and forests invite you to hike. In the village there is a small organic shop where you can buy fresh eggs, bread, rolls and everyday necessities.

Cosy wooden house in a quiet location – perfect for switching off. On 43 m², you can expect a bright living/dining area with a kitchenette, a shower room and a bedroom upstairs. Large windows and natural wood construction create a pleasant indoor climate. A wood stove provides cozy warmth. Guests praise the loving furnishings, the soothing silence and the relaxed atmosphere – ideal for a break from everyday life and for refuelling in nature.

Wabi Sabi Cottage I in the Old School and Sauna

This apartment is located in the former old school in the village and was probably originally built for the teacher in 1815. It contains one bedroom, another sleeping chamber under the roof (only bookable in summer), a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom with shower. The sleeping chamber under the roof can only be reached via a steep staircase. The chamber can be heated via an oven, but the roof is not perfectly insulated.
