Monthly Rentals in Wardlow

A lovely little gem, exactly as described. The hideaway was clean and tidy and was a great use of what would ordinarily be a small space. Jasmine was kind enough to leave us a doggy care package and some treats for us as well, which was a lovely touch. Tucked away in a peaceful location it provided a great hub for easy access to Bakewell and The Peak District National Park, where we came to hike. Everything seemed to be just 10 minutes away! Jasmine also supplied local recommendations, the Packhorse Inn was a particular highlight with fantastic food and friendly service. I liked very much that Jasmine was keen to ensure our dog had a good stay as well. I felt very comfortable with our pup in the hideaway. Some other places I have stayed have often imposed extremely strict rules for animals but this was very relaxed and I felt as though Jasmine knew that we would respect her home as we would our own with our animals. My dog was particularly sad to leave the two roaming hens behind!

Great find this place especially as it was a bank holiday weekend. Lovely one bed cottage which was charming and spotlessly clean with all facilties. Great communication with Tracy and the cottage is in the ideal location for many scenic walks. Village pub is only a minute away. Menu looks great but unfortunately it was fully booked through our weekend stay. Hopefully will book the cottage again soon.

We had a lovely stay at Laura’s Shepherd’s hut. The views were amazing. The hut is pretty well equipped and the addition of the wood fire pizza oven was good fun but could do with a rolling pin to make rolling the pizzas a bit easier. The hut was very clean and Laura was a responsive host. Would recommend for anyone who wants beautiful views and nice walks in the Peak District.

The place was very comfortable and homely with a gorgeous view of large fields with friendly horses for neighbours! Julie and Steve left some amazing homemade brownies and were on hand to sort some extra pillows and for a nice chat about local walks. Litton is gorgeous, especially the pie from the local pub! Would highly recommend a stay here, we loved it!
