A truly special place that I hope to return to someday! The property is incredibly beautiful with gorgeous vistas of the surrounding valley from just a 15 minute walk up the hill behind the house. I walked up to the cut everyday at sunrise and sunset and loved hanging out with the towhees and agaves. Anza-Borrego is a beautiful drive, just as promised, and feels like a "secret" gem I'm grateful to have found. Highly recommend tacos at Los Jilbertos in Borrego Springs after your hike! The house is cozy and feels like a real home, really appreciated that it wasn't a spare ikea-filled airbnb like so many. Still, it didn't feel cluttered either. Annie was super responsive and helpful. Can't wait to come back!

My husband and I needed a quiet place to get some work done without the distractions of our home and offices. This was the perfect place! Quiet, peaceful, and no distractions! There is wifi, which was helpful if we needed it, but we mostly unplugged. Photos don't do the little casita justice. It was even more adorable in person, and had a comfy bed and very nice linens. We enjoyed the moonrise while burning a little fire in the chiminea. Great experience and would definitely go back again!

Michael's cottage is a true gem. It was stylish, comfortable, and made me feel like a friend was loaning me their place for the weekend. He truly has thought of everything to make guests feel not only comfortable but at home, down to the portable telescope for stargazing in this Dark Sky community. It's centrally located and easy to find. Anza Borrego is a magical place: be sure to check out the whimsical metal sculptures of various animals spread out across Galleta Meadows in addition to the wonderful hikes (such as Slot Canyon and Borrego Palm Canyon). Getting away from the everyday city life turning off the electronics and getting back to the beauty of the Ranch life. The Barn was very unique and beautiful designed in a super authentic native American/cowboy feel.Not to mention the awesome animals.Horses, ostrich,and turkeys just to mention a few My family and I will definitely be returning.Great experience.
