This cozy cabin is on a well maintained town (dirt) road a short walk to Blueberry Lake (on National Forest land, non-motorized) and is within 15 minutes of Breadloaf Wilderness Area, Sugarbush Ski Resort, Mad River Glen Ski Area, restaurants and dining, arts and crafts, sports and specialty shops. It's wooded, quiet, has a light open feeling inside.
“Great little cabin, had solid kitchen for cooking, functional space heater for when it gets super cold outside, and very comfy beds. Better taken care of than most ski cabins/condos I’ve stayed in.”
Wake up in a bedroom steeped in woodsy charm via exposed wood beams, a timeworn wooden dresser, and a driftwood-framed mirror. Rustic-chic touches in a cozy living room unite with a kitchen’s modern flourishes forging a radiant, lived-in atmosphere. This first floor apartment of a two unit 1830 farmhouse can be rented on its own or with the upstairs unit. Booked as just the first floor, it is completely secluded with its own private entrance.
“Charming, well-located, and had everything we needed! We were grateful that we could bring our pup with us as well :) Conveniently located off the main road (it was not loud at any time during the day), the property has ample parking, a large grassy field with access to a cute stream and a had fire pit. The home is warm and was well stocked, we did not feel like we were missing anything. Heat worked wonderfully. There is a cute swimming hole less than half a mile away and Warren falls were a short drive. During this stay we cooked, relaxed, hiked, and worked. Yiselle was responsive, kind and took the time to welcome and help settle us in. We hope to return this summer!”
The Joan room contains 3 bunks and one single bed. It can accommodate up to 7 guests and is a mixed female/male dorm. Each member of your party must reserve their own bed. The total number of beds you reserve must match the total number of guests staying. The price is per bed not for the whole room. The restaurant and bar will be reopening in July.
“Really enjoyed the atmosphere at this place. I found the hosts Ryan and Justin really warm and welcoming Most of the dorms are adjacent to each other, with one thruway, so it can be a bit loud in the morn, so I would only suggest the one dorm across from the first washroom upstairs for those sensitive to noise.”
