Beachfront holiday rentals in Washington County

It was so peaceful and serene. The view was spectacular. It was great to be one with nature and wildlife. I truly enjoyed the stillness of the water without a lot of noise to sully the moment.. I got a lot of work done & enjoyed myself as well. I definitely would recommend this place if you want peace of mind, mixed in with a good beach experience.

Anticipated my arrival and welcomed our party early. Wanted to hit the ground running to tour Block Island by bike. We were able to store our gear and work in a full day of activity. The morning breakfast was a real treat, really set us up for more touring.

This place was so beautiful and peaceful. It is just what my family and I needed. I will always remember our trip here and look forward to booking again in the future.

The house was very comfortable and clean. The view was very beautiful! There’s a large beautiful deck with comfortable furniture. The house has a certain ambiance to it, and the history of it must be interesting.

Teri's place was as described and perfect for our large group of 11. It easily handled the parking and sleeping requirements we had. It was a short drive to tons of great restaurants and stores, and 10 minutes to the beach. It also had a nice "riverfront" beach in the neighborhood. It was clean and fully stocked. Teri is was on point with all communications. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

Emily was a great communicator. The bathroom is tiny, so keep that in mind if you have 5 or 6 people staying. The TV wasn’t workable. however Emily was very responsive about it. The luxation is great. Right by the water. It would be perfect for the summer if the main purpose is to go to the beach. There are 2 convenient restaurants right next door. We were there for URI family weekend and we had a nice time!

Fly Fishers Cottage was the perfect choice for my visit home for the holidays. The cottage is exactly as described, spotless, super cozy, and it was even decorated for Christmas! It was the exact amount of space I needed and felt like a home away from home. It is ideally located to get to Jamestown and Newport, as well as to other parts of RI and MA where I was visiting family. Clare is a wonderful host, very responsive, and flexible with check in/out which I hugely appreciated. She also made sure outside was cleared and gritted after some snow - it seems like a small thing, but made me feel welcome and taken care of. I really hope to stay at the cottage again on my upcoming summer visit - thank you Clare!

Our family had a wonderful stay with Melanie! Her home is comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. She was always responsive and helpful from the time we made our reservation through checkout. Would stay here again and would definitely recommend.

Everything was as expected. The house was clean and very close to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked and with plenty of kitchen appliances.

This was the second time my family & I stayed at this beautiful home. The upgrades were an added plus. The central air was great and the outdoor fireplace was a great place to gather at night. The beds were comfy and there was ample room for us, great grandma, my kids & grandchildren. The kitchen had everything we needed. The home was clean and the front porch was a favorite gathering place for coffee in the morning while seeing the ocean in the distance and hearing the waves crash. The flowers surrounding the front porch are gorgeous. The walk to the beach was a quick 5 minutes. The neighborhood was lovely and family friendly. Loved the outdoor shower. There were plenty of blankets & pillows & towels if you choose to pay a bit extra it was worth it. We will definitely be back to make memories with our family again.

We had a great stay. The house was clean warm and inviting. The gardens and the path to the beach most probably are beautiful in warmer months. We stayed over Christmas. Beautiful view of the bay and bridge. Over all a great experience.

Great stay, great for a group. Location to beach and Narragansett are ideal. The outdoor spaces are really awesome and have beautiful views. You do have to make all the beds when you arrive, and while the sentiment of knowing the sheets are clean is appreciated, we didn’t enjoy having to work as soon as we got to vacation after traveling all day. Other than that, we had the best time.

Neil was very flexible with our stay dates, we appreciated that! The property was exactly as depicted in the description and pictures. Neil always responded super-quick, just an overall great stay!

We spent the holidays at Brenda’s beautiful home and everything about it was absolutely lovely. The view is incredible in any season. Although most people will be enjoying the 5 minute walk to the beach in the idyllic neighborhood, because it was winter, we appreciated all the amenities the home had to offer, including the spacious and well equipped kitchen and cozy fireplace. Brenda is an amazing host. From charming Christmas decorations to the incredibly thoughtful personal touches Brenda left for us, we felt right at home in her house. It is perfect for families with young children - the play nook in the children’s room was a treasure trove for my 5 year old and 18 month old, even *after* receiving presents on Christmas morning. Brenda reached out ahead of time and provided us with all the baby gear we needed. We appreciated Brenda’s clear communication and willingness to accommodate us from the beginning. We had a very special time here and hope to return in the future!

Edelweiss cottage was a perfect weekend getaway location. Carol is a fantastic communicator and took the time to call before our visit to answer any questions and also provided detailed instructions as well as recommendations. In addition, she generously had baked good delivered during one of our mornings. The cottage is extremely well appointed with everything thing that you could need - well stocked kitchen, beach chairs, kayaks, blankets, a wood stove, outdoor shower, etc. and has a very beachy feel to it. Edelweiss is in close proximity to the beach and a short drive to Point Judith restaurants, stores, etc. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Five stars for this amazing house. The location is perfect, the grounds are beautiful, the big open spaces – this is an amazing place to host a people, or just to get together in large group. So many bedrooms, somebody pick up spaces to host meals, entertain a large group, or play outside. Also – Virginia is the single best host I’ve ever had in Airbnb,. She found out we’d be doing a Thanksgiving at the house, and set up an entire dining room for us to host 12 people over Thanksgiving – so when we arrive the night before, Everything looks good to go. Which reminds me, the kitchen is also fully stocked with pots pans, utensils, and everything in between. It was an awesome house. I should mention that the house was under a little bit of construction, including an unfinished construction zone bathroom in the master bedroom, and some unfinished walls and other things around the home – which I wish had been disclosed. Regardless, Virginia was the best host and made it so special. Amazin

The stay was amazing. The house had enough room for everyone. We loved the extra living room downstairs where there was activities incase of a rainy day which we did end up having. There is a fire pit downstairs which was beautiful to light at night and make smores. The town was beautiful and the house is in a great location where we have our own privacy but not too far away from everything. The host left clear instructions and left local recommendations which were very helpful. The host even left a gift for my birthday which was beyond nice and much appreciated. I would definitely stay here again with my family.

This is a big, comfortable house that's great for large gatherings. It has many bathrooms with good water pressure, efficient central A/C, a smart TV and little balcony off the kitchen/living room area. It also has two fridges/freezers which is nice. I recommend bringing bikes to get to the closest beach, Kelly Beach, as the path there is actually a busy road and not great for walking back and forth (parking there is not an option). It's nice that they provide a beach tag though.

This home is beautiful! Kelly was an amazing host. She was very proactive and prompt in our communications, and was so helpful. From the moment we arrived, it was apparent that she takes great pride in the attention and detail put into the home. The home was well furnished with everything we needed and more! The location is perfect. It is private and secluded, but still close enough to explore many towns nearby. Being right on the water was so peaceful. Drinking coffee over sunrise in the morning, warming up in the hot tub, or playing games with our family in the evenings are some of our favorite memories! We had a wonderful stay and look forward to staying again the next time we are in Rhode Island!

I had an incredible stay at Ahmed’s beautiful property in Narragansett! The home is spacious, spotless, and perfectly located just a short 6-minute walk from Scarborough Beach. Waking up to ocean views was such a treat, and the backyard truly felt like an oasis—complete with a relaxing jacuzzi and outdoor shower that added a spa-like touch to our trip. Ahmed made the check-in process seamless, and his attention to detail as a host was outstanding. Whether you’re lounging on the beach or enjoying the peaceful backyard, this home is ideal for a relaxing getaway.
