Our cozy guesthouse offers the best of 2 worlds. You are in a lovely quiet place in the middle of nature with a view of meadows and forest. If you're lucky you'll be face to face with a cow from the house. But you are also only 15 minutes away from the lively capital Amsterdam. The guesthouse is very private at the back of our site at a good distance from our typical Dutch farmhouse. We live here with our 2 kids and our 2 dogs (who walk around freely). Peace & quiet, relaxation, plenty to do!

The Waterland Hoge Huis is a 5-person apartment in a 1614 national monument. Rembrandt's time. Monnickendam is a quiet town on the IJsselmeer near Amsterdam (15 minutes by bus) where you can still park. Large parts of Waterland are a mix of ancient cultural landscape and protected natural areas that you can visit with small boats. IJsselmeer Beach is around the corner, and the North Sea Beach is a 40-minute drive away.

"Koetshuis Monnickendam" is located in the old historic center of Monnickendam. Features a large kitchen equipped with a gas stove, convection oven, microwave and dishwasher. There is a large bathroom and the accommodation has a bedroom with two double beds, suitable for 4 adults. High-speed internet is available. Monnickendam has a good connection. Amsterdam is only 15 km away from the house.

Welcome on board of our historical sailing ship "Chateauroux", in the summer sailing the Dutch waters and docked in the historical harbour town Monnickendam (20 min from Amsterdam) or in Amsterdam.
