“This is a very cute apartment to stay at. Plus the host Tonya is an awesome Lady she goes out of her way to make you feel important. You definitely need to go to Crazy dogs and have a bite to eat.”
Once an Erie Canal hotel, this historical landmark is packed with mystery & charm! This 1829 treasure brings to life not only local history but American history with the staircase artfully hand crafted by Madison Hemings, son of slave Sally Hemings & fathered by her Master, Pres. Thomas Jefferson. We invite you to be our guest, enjoy fresh seafood dining, located on the ground floor, relax with a glass of wine on our tranquil patio or chat with one of the many ghosts, said to wonder the halls.
“A gem in Waverly! The apartment was spotless and convenient! Connie is a wonderful host. I would definitely recommend and plan on staying again the next time I am in town!”
Our spacious 2 bedroom apartment is located in the heart of downtown Chillicothe. It's great for couples and families. Minimal and restful. We've designed our space with our guest's privacy and rest in mind. Walking distance to all downtown coffee shops, restaurants and Yoctangee park. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors are nice.
“We loved our stay with Nick and Dina. They were very responsive to our questions. Their place is in a perfect location for walking/biking to anywhere you might want to go in town and only a seven minute drive to the Hopewell Culture National Historic Park, which is what brought us to the area. The apartment is super clean and uncluttered. Comfy beds and lots of natural light. There is a kitchen, but definitely take inventory before attempting to cook as kitchen supplies are very limited (paper plates, few silverware, one spatula, one pot, one pan). We brought our own pour over coffee, but appreciated having the keurig as well (there is no coffee pot). For those sensitive to synthetic scents, you may want to ask Nick and Dina to remove the Plug-ins before your arrival. The scent was pretty overwhelming when we arrived, but faded quickly once we unplugged them. Had we known in advance, we would’ve just asked them to remove them before we arrived. Otherwise this place was perfect for our family of five and we would definitely stay here again!”
