Beautiful and quirky little place . Very peaceful and quiet location . Hosts extremely quick to respond to our messages Really nice touch leaving freshly baked bread and treats for us and our dog . Would definitely come again

Absolutely would recommend. Great bunkhouse, everything you could need. Lots of little extras that weren’t expected but much appreciated. Very clean, beautiful location. Lovely, friendly hens. Couldn’t ask for a better host in Sarah, absolutely 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩’s. Friendly, informative & nothing too much trouble. Loved it so much going back on Saturday. Absolutely faultless, if you haven’t already been you’re missing something special. A perfect retreat. Thank you Sarah & Ian, couldn’t have asked for anything more. Excellent value for money. Absolutely wonderful place. If you want peace and off grid, this ticks all the boxes. The cottage itself is extremely well equipped and the views are stunning. As a solo female traveller I also felt completely safe. It’s probably not for you if you’re not a confident driver or need to be near amenities, but for me with wonderful walks from the doorstep, it’s just perfect. This was my second visit, there will be a third and even a fourth! Thanks

Lovely stay in a beautiful and peaceful cottage. We all enjoyed watching the lambs, pheasants and rabbits in the nearby fields and listening to the bird song. Well located for trips to Hadrian's Wall. We would also recommend the walk to High Force waterfall from the visitor centre (30 min drive), which was very slow for us due to having a 3 and 6 yr old, but lovely nevertheless!
