The apartment is very well appointed and is as beautiful as it looks from the photos. There are many nice touches, the furnishings are very tasteful and the furniture comfortable. I particularly liked the shower. It is in a great area, in a quiet street close to the town centre and an easy walk to many cafes and restaurants. There were few provisions in the kitchen but it had the basics for guests who want to cook. Lauren and Dean were keen to make our stay as pleasant as possible, replying promptly to messages and being very responsive to our requests. They could not have been better hosts.

Really nice, kinda period New York laid out apartment. Directions are good. Master bedroom is enormous and nice n dark n quiet at night. Well located close to Sturt Street. We enjoyed our stay for 4 over Christmas

This was a great place to stay for our family of 5 with 3 teenagers - enough space for everyone and the kids had their own rooms - hard to come by in most accommodation. The place was clean and warm and the location was perfect for us. Check in was really easy and the undercover locked garage was a bonus. Would definitely recommend.

Great location and close to ammenities. Can be a little noisy at night due to the building being directly on the main stretch, but this is no different to any other apartment in a similar position. It's a beautiful apartment and well appointed.

Nice clean unit. I arrived on a 37 degree day and the air conditioning had been switched on prior to me getting there which was lovely. No issues at all. Will definitely book again when I need to come back to town

Great location and a good basic apartment. Easy walk to the lake which is beautiful and cafes too. It was a great spot to stay for the Ballarat marathon. Nicole was really helpful and communicated well regarding any issues or questions we had.

This is the second time I visited this place, and all I can say is, I’d definitely visit again! The location is great, and the place had everything we needed. This would be a go-to place when I visit Ballarat. Troy is very clear and responsive with the communications, as always.

The unit was very clean and tidy. Nice quiet street, very close to the Lake with easy access and parking. We had a great time.

Would absolutely recommend booking this home, we loved our time here. It is furnished beautifully, and incredibly well stocked with everything you will need for your stay. It is in a lovely, quiet neighbourhood. Ps, the shower is incredible. Best water pressure and shower head!

We stayed in the cottage for two nights over the Ballarat Marathon weekend. It was very convenient to the town centre and very comfortable. Most importantly the cottage is dog friendly and we were able to bring our two dogs with us to stay. The beds were comfortable and the surroundings very quiet. The dishwasher wasn’t working during our stay but Sue advised us before we arrived so we weren’t caught off guard . Overall a good stay.

We love staying at Sonya’s. It’s cozy and very quiet, like your own little bush cottage retreat. Sonya is kind and communicative. Will stay again.

Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this stay. The house is beautiful, spacious and immaculately kept, and beds were so comfy! We all had the best sleep in this peaceful neighbourhood in the heart of the city. It had everything we needed for a long weekend in Ballarat. The location was great for an easy stroll in to the restaurant and shopping precinct ( highly recommend Pancho for dinner, 10/10 food and service), a quick drive to Ballarat Botanical Gardens and Lake Wendouree parks and walks, and a 6 minute drive to Sovereign Hill. Ashlea was an amazing host and very responsive. The house was super kid friendly even having plastic plates, bowls, cups, toys and highchair! The outdoor area was lovely, including a dart board to play. The house has been neatly renovated, whilst keeping its old charm (windows, taps, doors etc give it that heritage feel, which fits in well for Ballarat). We were very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend.
