“A well overdue long weekend away with friends - and we chose Fran’s beautiful home In Wensleydale. From the initial booking through to checking out, Fran was available for any questions or hints we needed to make the most of time at The Wensley and the local area. The home is just has described - spacious, rustic, warm and stunning interiors. What a spot! We will be back!”
Drift off to sleep to the soothing sounds of the ocean in this tranquil property, purpose-built for couples. The colourful interior includes many coastal touches, while the native garden comes with an undercover lounge area with hanging chair.
“A little oasis steps from the beach. Beautiful appointed and the bed and linen where exceptional. Great space for a couples get away or a quiet study space (which is what I used it for). Virginia was a great host and I will definitely be going back.”
Designed by award winning architect Simone Koch, the cabin is about cooking, eating, drinking wine while being able to open right up to the beautiful Australian bush... The toilet is an outdoor organic system (based on the national park's toilets). Located at the start of the Great Ocean Road, only ten minutes from Torquay or famous Bells Beach, you will feel like home especially with a glass of Wolseley Wines in your hand. Complementary bottle of pinot from the winery on arrival.
“A unique, beautiful, and relaxing place to stay. We made friends with Will’s dog Adis, and let him nap by our fire. Will provides wood for the first night’s fire, but I encourage you to bring extra (Pick up free stuff on the side of the road) if you can to take advantage of the indoor and outdoor fireplaces. Hope to be back one day”
