Nature cocoons you and you can reach out and touch the trees, see wildlife all around you amongst the pines. With breathtaking views through the tress and across the valley you are completely private having no other accommodation on the site making this a truly unique and special experience. Every room is a delight of bespoke joinery and high quality fittings. Built in 1793 and in the centre of Gunnerside Village, this cottage is an ideal base to explore and enjoy all the Yorkshire Dales has to offer. The sound of the river welcomes you as you step though the front door, but all is tranquil inside.

Despite this rural idyll, weāre only a five minute car drive from Clitheroe, one of the North-Westās nicest market towns. The views will take your breath away!

Just a minutes walk from the centre of the beautiful market town of Hawes in the heart of Wensleydale. This traditional property has been internally modernised to comprise over three floors, ground floor with fully fitted kitchen, dining area, and living room with wood burning stove as well as underfloor heating, the first floor has a double bedroom and family bathroom with bath and separate shower. The second floor has the master bedroom with king size bed and en-suite shower.

Sorry, no dogs ā to protect our ancient woodland and the endangered red squirrels who live here.

The Green Dragon Inn is less than 5 minutes walk. The small market town of Hawes is a 20 minute walk, with plenty of shops and pubs.

There are walks in all directions from the cottage itself.
