At Minicamping De Grutte Earen, you can now stay in our brand new chalet: a comfortable, cozy place in the middle of the Frisian countryside, where peace and space are central. Inside, you will find a cozy living space with a compact sitting area, a kitchenette with a refrigerator, dishes and a microwave, and a private bathroom with shower and toilet. No shared sanitary facilities, but complete privacy and comfort. Ideal for a relaxing stay. The chalet is suitable for two people and perfect for couples or solo travelers looking for a quiet, comfortable base. What makes this place special is the view. From the windows, you overlook the vast meadows of North Friesland. The horizon here seems endless, with nothing but waving grass, occasionally a deer or hare in the distance and the sound of frogs in the ditch and birds in the air. In the morning, you can enjoy a cup of coffee while the sun slowly rises over the land, and in the evening, you can watch a spectacular sunset, without neighbors, without crowds. This chalet is perfect for those who want to experience the camping feeling, but with just that little extra luxury. High quality built spacious chalet with large living room with open kitchen. Comfortable seating area for 5 people with leather sofas and armchair. Large dining table. Air conditioning in all the rooms. Kitchen with oven, Nespresso and dishwasher, toaster, milk foam maker, kettle. Right by the Leekstermeer. Unique, quiet area. Large sunny outdoor area and covered seating area with large dining table and 6 chairs. All mattresses were renewed in 2024. In November 2025, the bathroom was renovated. WiFi included.

Relax and unwind in our cozy and comfortable Dijkhuisje where you can swim in the morning, right from your own jetty. With the two single canoes and a Canadian canoe that are supplied with the rental, water fun and discovering nature reserve de Onlanden is also guaranteed. A ladies and men's bike are at your disposal. The city of Groningen is 10 minutes away by car. You are in the middle of a nature reserve with beautiful walking and cycling areas. The grounds are fenced for the dog.

The garden house has a refrigerator, WiFi and a 2-burner gas stove. The bathroom and toilet are shared facilities and are located in the farmhouse. The large garden is private, sunny and lush. In the fruit season, you can pick apples, pears and blackberries. You can also work in the garden, very relaxing. Spectacular views!

The cottage has French doors to the garden, where you can start the day with a nice cup of coffee or tea (always in stock). The large, fenced, sunny garden has a covered veranda where you can also sit out of the sun or in bad weather ✨
