Thanks Sue & Tony for a lovely stay on your farm! We stayed 8 nights with our dog and he loved being able to explore the property, play with Billie the boxer and go for walks/swims down at the lake. We had a such relaxing stay, would definitely recommend if you're looking for a peaceful getaway that's dog friendly.

We had such a lovely stay, we brought our bikes and enjoyed the easy access to the path along the river. The accommodation is spacious and clean and has everything we needed. We enjoyed the spa and pool, its very private and has a lovely outlook to large trees. Highly recommend!

Great wee spot, lovely rural location. Warm dry and comfortable. Dog friendly which is huge for us.

jos place was fabulous. it was roomy, well equipped, homely and in the perfect location. Jo was super responsive and flexible (as our check in time changed) She left us some breakfast goodies as well as tea and coffee. Would definitely stay again! thank you

You know when you walk in to an air BnB and you instantly feel at ease and like you’re going to have the best weekend because of the place you get to sleep is perfect, this is how I felt stepping into Raewyn and Rod’s property. It was clean to absolute perfection, the bathroom was really cool, the beds were great - comfortable as and the granola, as per other reviews was fab! The home made peaches were however my favourite and my dad loved the plum jam! It’s peaceful with a great view and ambient outdoor areas to soak up some sun. In walking distance from a cute coffee spot and the pub was great for food. My dad and I had the best weekend and we couldn’t be more grateful for our stay and highly recommend.

We had an unforgettable stay at Annie and Tautini’s peaceful and beautifully maintained home. It struck the perfect balance between feeling like a welcoming home and being a private, self-contained retreat. The view over the lush garden and surrounding landscape was stunning — a joy to wake up to each day. The hot tub was a dream after long hikes, and the location couldn’t be better: just six minutes from Ōhope Beach with plenty of scenic trails nearby. Annie and Tautini were incredibly thoughtful hosts — their recommendation to try Cigol, the Korean restaurant in town, was spot on. What made the experience truly special was the way they generously shared their time and knowledge about pounamu, local sites, and cultural traditions. We felt deeply privileged and blessed to have stayed here. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

Chris was there to greet us when we arrived as was Penny the cat and the ‘girls’! Chris had left all sorts of little food items for us and we decided to have omelettes for tea so we could taste the ‘girls’ eggs - they were yummy. Chris’s place was perfect, with a comfy bed and super shower. All the little extras made a big difference and the best was the warm freshly made bread and homemade juice for breakfast!! We would recommend Chris’s place to everybody.
