Mill House - Villa on Forgotten World Highway

This lovely villa was built in the early 1900’s by the McCluggage Family, who operated sawmills in the area. Their endeavors included the construction of a tunnel, in 1924, at the rear of the property to provide access to timber on the Whangamomona Saddle where it still remains today. Mill House is a fully furnished, four bedroom/one bathroom home that comfortably sleeps eight. Whether you are travelling through or looking to getaway, Mill House can provide you with tranquility and relaxation.

Walk the world famous Tongariro Crossing and discover the cycle ways, kayak the Whanganui River and explore the 'Bridge to No Where'. Try trout fishing, a game of golf or visit the Waiouru Army Museum. Enjoy our cosy home with a wood fire whilst taking in the amazing mountain and rural views. Waireka Apartment, situated in Ohakune in the Ruapehu District is a self contained 2 bedroom apartment each with a queen size bed, a large lounge with mountain views, kitchen and own spa pool. Spa Pool operates from 10am to 10pm Cleaning on departure is included in the rate. Your own private spa awaits you on the deck & is serviced daily. With a Queen bed, fully equipped kitchen, en-suite & log fire, it has everything you need for a fantastic stay. The mezzanine floor, accessed by a steep staircase, has a sofa, 42" TV , Freeview, DVD, WIFI. An extra 32" TV with Chrome-cast is downstairs.

The Crib

Comfortable, semi-rural, within 4 minutes of town. Situated on a 3 acre block, this Airbnb is completely separate and offers privacy and convenience. It comes with a well equipped kitchen and breakfast is included. There is a smart Tv and Wifi. There is a locked garage available for storage of items such as bikes or small water craft.
