Kokako Lodge

Kokako Lodge is a compact self contained haven, with upcycled rustic decor. The lodge sits on our family property of 1 acre, it has established trees and gardens. Kokako lodge is a separate abode to the main house. It has a main bedroom with a queen sized bed and a mezzanine floor above the kitchen which has 2 single or a king size bed. The walls are adorned with local artists drawings and paintings. Kokako lodge is 5 minute drive from the city and close to the Wanganui river walk. A real treasure.

Walk the world famous Tongariro Crossing and discover the cycle ways, kayak the Whanganui River and explore the 'Bridge to No Where'. Try trout fishing, a game of golf or visit the Waiouru Army Museum. Enjoy our cosy home with a wood fire whilst taking in the amazing mountain and rural views. Our place is good for couples and families (with kids) or small groups.

The Crib

Comfortable, semi-rural, within 4 minutes of town. Situated on a 3 acre block, this Airbnb is completely separate and offers privacy and convenience. It comes with a well equipped kitchen and breakfast is included. There is a smart Tv and Wifi. There is a locked garage available for storage of items such as bikes or small water craft. There is heaps of parking for trailers etc. Wake up and listen to the bird song - we hope you will love this place as much as we do!

Bella's Rest Guesthouse

Open plan kitchen and living area, with a selection of games/puzzles and books available for your enjoyment. Main bedroom with king-size bed, portacot available if required. You will be staying in the character filled, old Kimbolton BNZ Bank (complete with teller box). This is a great Digital Nomad option - with ski fields within 2.5 hours. I live in the "Managers Quarters" which are through a door from the bank (the walls are very thick).
