Monthly Rentals in Whashton

We stayed at The Bakehouse for a couple of nights as a little birthday celebration for our daughter. It was exactly what we were looking for. It is immaculately well kept and has obviously been renovated with love and attention to detail. It has everything you could need, there was even a special little bag of items for the dog. The cottage is just as described and if anything the rooms were larger than we anticipated. Beds were comfy, everything worked, the bath / shower was always hot and although we had no need of the log burner it was comforting to know it was ready to go. Loads of beautiful local walks and scenery, farm shops abound, and eye tests at Barnard Castle are easily accessible. I would definitely recommend The Bakehouse to friends and we hope to visit again. Was a short stay but felt completely at home. Great hosts. Would of loved to stay longer.

Absolutely stunning cottage in the perfect location. Literally a few minutes walk to the centre with a great selection of pubs and restaurants. Extremely clean cottage matching the pictures exactly. Would recommend to anyone visiting this area.
