Welcome to Rodlhaus GruBÄR! The wood-burning stove in the living and dining area provides cosy warmth. The very well-equipped kitchen invites you to cook. From the balcony, you can look into the nature reserve and have direct access to the large Rodl. Upstairs, you will find cosy sleeping areas. Waidhofen captivates with a charming old town and beautiful surroundings in the foothills of the Alps, perfect for hiking, biking (Ybbstal bike path) and unwinding. Enjoy the cozy apartment in the listed house in the city center - view of the Ybbs river included. In summer you can cool off in the bathing area in front of the house.

The kitchen is equipped with a Nespresso machine, oil, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper as well as the most important cooking utensils. In the private garden area you can soak up the sun and eat comfortably. In addition, there is a storage room, so bicycles can also be safely stored.

Our chats

Our cottage is located in a semi-secluded forest by the Stropnice River. Although it may not look like it at first glance, there are neighbors nearby, but they are not visible from the cottage. Enjoy sitting by the crackling fireplace with a book and a cup of tea or breakfast on the terrace. There is no wifi in the cottage, so enjoy the time spent together.

Disconnect from everyday life - enjoy pure nature

The house is located in the northern Waldviertel on the Czech border, nestled in a beautiful landscape. All-day sun exposure and pure nature offer the possibility to let go. The area offers countless paths for walking and cycling. Very close by, in the village of Karlstift, there is a ski lift and a beautiful natural swimming lake.
