The cabin is primitive but has a full off-grid kitchen setup including a two-burner stove, dishware, potable water jug, solar lanterns, a power strip for charging phones (up to 7 amps) and a composting toilet about 10 yards away. Makes for the perfect cozy little getaway! Showers are available for an additional $3/night/person, payable upon arrival.

Located on 220 acres adjacent to the Bogue Chitto National Wildlife Refuge, the property includes freshwater lakes, a beach, and multiple trails for a beautiful morning or evening walk. Guests have easy access to the BCNWR for deer, hog, etc. hunting, as well as canoes and kayaks. We have blueberries, whitetail deer and chickens supplying fresh eggs, when laying.
