Family-friendly holiday rentals in Wilkes-Barre

From the beginning Ting and Ning had excellent communication that made the booking experience at their rental extremely easy. My questions were answered in a timely manner and the instructions were clear. The home was beautiful and the comfort was so manageable that my guests and i were so sad for it to end. The fruit when we walked in was much needed because we were starving. The home was such a great experience and i would definitely book with Ting and Ning again. Thank you for such an amazing weekend!!!

Could not recommend this stay more! I booked for my family for Christmas (~11 people total), and we had more than enough space to go around. The area was serene, the house immediately felt like a home and was easy to settle into (well-equipped for all our needs, warm given the snow, plenty of DVDs and board games), etc. For anyone considering staying in the Poconos in the winter, this is an incredible choice! For anyone staying in the summer - I have no comment, but given the furnishings and vibes, this would be my first pick for a summer lake trip.

house was exactly what was advertised. Plenty of space for the 8 of us and then some. hot tub and game room were an awesome bonus. everything u need is right there. Plenty of things for kids to do from arcade games to game tables to yard sports. Will be looking for this place again in the future

What a great setting for our large family to meet! So many activities! We had many a pool table competition along side the same with shuffle board, while a couple of the kids were engaged in XBox! The hot tub was truly an added bonus. No one was bored. The area was perfect for hikes through Hickory Run, as well as lakes in which to fish!!Jim Thorpe was so interesting! Heidi and Trevor offer every amenity we could have needed. The rooms were comfortable and homey and the kitchen was perfect. What a great week!!

Loved the home, it was beautiful! Perfect for the girls trip I planned! Rooms were spacious and had all that we needed! Would definitely book this home again! Loved that there were instructions everywhere for things to be cautious of so that nothing gets broken! The only thing I would say is, I wish the porch & hot tub area had a bit more lighting to it, other than that this home was amazing!

Great location for Skiing at Cambelback, ski in / ski out was convenient. We loved having the option to swim at the pool. The unit was clean and had everything we needed to prepare meals, etc. Loved the fact that linens are provideds and washed.

Love this place. Stayed here multiple times for a yearly music writing retreat with my band and hopefully will continue for years to come. Piano is in tune and sounds great, very peaceful place with a amazing view. House is extremely clean and neat. Beds are very comfortable. Fire pit and hot tub are top notch. Host's are very responsive and accommodating.

Christopher’s place greatly exceeded my expectations. Communication was fantastic from booking to checkout. Arrival and check- in/check-out was super easy and seamless. We arrived later than expected (in the dark) and were treated with a (very charming) and well lit driveway, stairs, and balcony making it so easy and pleasant to get the whole family, and all our things, inside quickly. The house was so lovely and well stocked with everything we needed and more. We only had to bring our groceries. They also had a few things that we forgot (like a much needed cup of coffee in the morning). From games and toys (suitable for many ages and stages), to art supplies, music, musical instruments, books (for all ages), to our very own private Easter egg hunt!! There was also tons of detailed information on amenities in the area including food, hiking, activities, and sightseeing. There really wasn’t anything that we didn’t absolutely love about our stay at Christopher’s! Thank you again!!

Great place for those like us who love peace and quiet. It’s definitely the private escape we needed! Please take a moment to read Nicole’s directions in terms of getting around / staying there since you are in the woods. The detail was very helpful for us in enjoying our time and getting around. Plus she has an awesome book collection!

Host was very accommodating and generous . Please brings you back to simpler day just what we needed to get away from the city

We had a perfect getaway at Jia’s house. We were in town to visit family but stayed in as much as we could to enjoy the peace and quiet and beautiful views. The house was spacious and cozy at the same time. Thank you for having us!

Magda’s cabin was the perfect winter getaway! It was cozy and warm, with a functional kitchen and dining space that made meals easy and enjoyable. The family room was spacious, offering a beautiful view—especially when it snowed during our trip. The three bedrooms were well-maintained, each with a comfortable queen bed that made for a great night’s sleep. Magda was incredibly responsive and flexible, making our stay even smoother. We would absolutely book here again!

What a great spot!! We took a girls trip and we were not disappointed in apt. C or Jim Thorpe. Great location… walking distance to so much. Be warned it is hilly, but we did not mind at all. The house was a great size for the 4 of us. Amenities were amazing. The only regret is that it was a rainy cold weekend and we could not enjoy coffee on the private patio!!! Jeffrey was super responsive and even shared the local places to go! We are looking forward to coming back next year!

Beautiful place and a great host

The house has many activities to play. We like boating, table tennis and playing vary sports at the recreation center. The location is close to everything. Owner is very responsive and friendly. We highly recommended the house.

We had a wonderful stay at this house. It was clean, spacious, very warm despite the cold, and had a terrific pool table and air hockey table. Our family relaxed and spent good time together.

Maggie was the best host! She was super responsive and accommodating. She made sure we made it to the property safely and without any problems. Any time I had a question she was very quick to respond. We loved this house and it was perfect for our bigger group for a weekend trip!

Amazing surroundings and lake view, house comfortable accommodated my huge family of 16. Has everything, all utensils mentioned. We had multiple sightings of deers right on our backyard which was awesome for the kids. We will definitely return in warmer weather to enjoy the lake. The host and her husband were extremely responsive and helpful. During our 4 day stay we did not have any issues. Amazing family memories made. Thank you!

Trish was an amazing host. Her home is beautiful and was such a wonderful experience. I can’t thank her enough for her help with a last minute booking and helping us out. I hope to come back sometime soon! It’s a dream house and property!
