Holiday rentals in Williamstown

The Mendon Cottage is clean, cozy and private. It’s just a 15 minute drive to Killington base, even in a fairly decent snow storm. There are trails behind the property that offered some good hiking for our doggo (they’re made for snowmobiles, but we didn’t spot one during our stay). The property delivers on its main promise: a less pricey alternative to staying at Killington, with very little inconvenience for the ski bums. Unless you simply can’t live without the ability to take the shuttle and ski off the mountain to your rental, you really can’t go wrong with this property. (It snowed our entire stay and the private road and driveway were plowed repeatedly and always navigable.)

The location was very close to the base lodge at Sugarbush mountain and a direct drive to Mt Ellen. The unit had many amenities for any group using this place for their active lifestyle. A mudroom for all your gear and outerwear, a convenient outdoor locker to store your skis and snowboard and a relaxing hot tub, made this place totally worth the rental.

This 2 story townhouse in Stowe Village was the perfect home base for our visit, offering both comfort and convenience. Located just steps from shops and restaurants, we loved being able to explore the charming village without needing to drive. The townhouse itself has a well-equipped kitchen that made meal preparation a breeze, along with a spacious dining and living area that provided plenty of room. The layout was ideal for gathering, whether enjoying a home-cooked meal or simply unwinding in the cozy living space. Communicating with Kim was very easy and she was super to work with. The home has comfortable mattresses & bedding ensuring restful nights. The townhouse was clean, well-maintained, and stocked with everything we needed. The combination of its prime location, welcoming ambiance, and thoughtful amenities made for a truly enjoyable experience. We highly recommend this townhouse to anyone visiting Stowe VT.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how well-maintained and spotless everything was. The house was not only neat and clean but also thoughtfully equipped with every small detail you could think of—from kitchen essentials to a great selection of board games that kept everyone entertained. What really stood out was the host Kaylee’s responsiveness and attention to detail. She was quick to reply to any questions we had and even went the extra mile by arranging for someone to clean the driveway during our stay when it snowed, which we really appreciated. It made us feel well taken care of and added to the overall comfort of the trip. The combination of a beautiful, clean space and a caring, proactive host made our experience truly memorable. We loved our time here and would gladly return in the future. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable gateway!!

Barbara was a wonderful host. The space was perfect for the four of us over the holiday break. Our kids especially enjoyed the game room and took advantage of the puzzles. Cozy home with great views and privacy.

Nice clean place to stay and excellent communication from the hosts. The property matches what's described. We were skiing all day and was a good spot to crash. It was bit further from Killington than we wanted, but that was clear up front!

This condo is a GREAT location if you're skiing at Stowe. Being able to make a right turn onto Mountain Rd in the morning (if you're familiar with Stowe traffic you'll understand what I mean) and be at the slopes in less than 10 minutes was amazing. And with the Topnotch Resort being on Mountain Rd, you're right in the heart of all of the restaurants and shops, too (the ever-popular Matterhorn is a very short drive away). The condo was spotless and cozy we all found the beds to be especially comfy. Overall, a great stay!

Location was amazing. It was more than enough space for our crew of 10 and 3 levels of living space and made you feel like you were in a separate house. Its a super fun house for families that like to play games and enjoy time together. We never felt the need to leave the house to go out to a bar or restaurant. And although it was fully disclosed that it is a shared space, it was still a little weird to have people in other units that were attached and hearing them do their laundry right on the other side of your bedroom door.

We stayed here while visiting family in Hanover forThanksgiving. A spacious house nestled within an amazing wooded area. We had the pleasure of waking up to all the trees covered in fresh snow. All the more perfect because the house has huge windows lots of natural light. Highly recommend.
