Our small 13 meter long houseboat Lore is located in the inner harbor of Duisburg, 3 minutes from the city center in one of the trendiest areas of the city: the inner harbour. The Lore has two spacious bedrooms, a roof terrace with lounge furniture, a small covered terrace, a living room with a direct view of the water, a kitchen and of course a bathroom with shower and toilet. The Lore is winter festival and can be booked 365 days a year. We have had three boats in the harbor since 2025.

It is located a few hundred metres from the Gemen youth castle and is an ideal starting point for cycling tours through the Münsterland park landscape and the Netherlands. Two bakeries with breakfast offerings and an organic shop are a three-minute walk away. You can safely park and recharge your e-bikes in our garage. Two restaurants are also within walking distance.

In the barn of our historic farm from 1489, you sleep in the Wolhalla: a tiny house lined with wool from the Drenthe heath sheep.
