Beautiful Georgian pet friendly (1 well behaved dog) cottage in the lovely location of Heswall on the Wirral Peninsula. Amazing dual aspect views across the River Dee onto the Welsh Hills and out to the Irish Sea. Property has been refurbished to a very high standard. We have done our upmost to ensure you have a wonderful relaxing stay. Within walking distance to lovely bars and restaurants and a 10 minute walk from the coastal walk. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Melsmere Lodge is a 2 bedroomed thatched cottage on the side of a private 1.5 acre lake and is surrounded by woodland and open countryside. The lake and woodland attract hundreds of species of birds and mammals. The lake itself is stocked with coarse fish. A little oasis of nature with easy links to local cities. Explore the wider Wirral area on the network of public footpaths or take a short train ride to the cities of Liverpool or Chester.

Situated just outside of the picturesque North Wales village of Llanarmon-yn-Ial, in an ANOB Glandwr Alyn is an ideal location for outdoor pursuits or a country getaway. For cyclists there are great road routes or if you are more of a mountain biker we are 15mins drive from Oneplanet Adventure. Offa’s Dyke path is a short walk from the cottage, alternatively the village's community pub & shop is a 15min walk. Birdwatchers love watching for Kingfishers on our deck which overlooks the river Alyn.

Our property promises a delightful experience combining modern amenities with scenic surroundings for a tranquil getaway. Travel cot available; well behaved dogs are welcome. 2 pubs, 1 serving great food and 1 showing sports within walking distance.

Stunning Views, Hot Tub, 5 minutes to Chester
Pipers Ash is a quaint small hamlet surrounded by green belt, set at the highest point of Chester next to the historical millennium beacon. Perfectly situated just two miles from the beautiful historic Chester city centre. Take a short car ride or just half an hours walk. Chester Zoo is just five minutes drive away. There are many lovely country walks and of course some fabulous country pubs. The trendy suburb of Hoole is only 15 minutes walk. Here you will find bars restaurants and shops.

Charming Canalside Cottage
Our comfortable cottage has easy access into the heart of Chester. The garden gate opens onto the canal towpath with a ten minute stroll up to our local Cheshire Cat pub. Alternatively, stay in and snuggle up with the wood burner. On a fine day, turn left out of the back gate for a pleasant 35 minute walk, following the canal directly into the beautiful city of Chester. Maybe take a boat trip on the river Dee? Alternatively, Chester Zoo is just a 10 minute drive, continuing down the A41.

The Shippen barn for Crosby Beach and Liverpool
‘The Shippen’ is a barn conversion, once part of a small dairy farm. High beamed ceilings give a spacious, rustic feel, and the double sided log burner makes the living spaces cosy. A ‘home from home’ that many guests return to. Good base to explore the Sefton coastal towns from Crosby to Southport. Ideally located for Aintree racecourse, ‘Another Place’ at Crosby Beach and the many golf links courses. A short drive to Knowsley Safari Park and Aughton - Michelin Star capital of the North!

A quaint cottage, at Aston Hill Farm, Ewloe
This is a newly refurbished cottage, which was originally a farm workers cottage, on a dairy farm. It’s quaint and very nicely finished. The log burner makes the sitting room very cosy. The cottage is attached to a stable block, and forms a u-shape of out-buildings, including our carpentry workshop. The main farmhouse is close by, but separate. We have large gardens, which guest are welcome to use, including a barbecue and pizza oven. Rural location, but close to lots of amenities.

Situated one mile from the historic market town of Ruthin in the Vale of Clwyd, perfect for couples, walkers, cyclists - anyone looking to enjoy outstanding countryside. Entirely private the annexe is attached to the farm house. It is made up of kitchen, lounge and dining area, shower room and double bedroom. Hot tub £10 for firewood and kindling no additional cost Property on small working farm.
