Little Round Cabin on the Pine 2 - The "Pine Cone"

The 250 square foot "Pine Cone" is a one room, round yurt-style cabin located on our 8 acre property. We border the Pine River in Richland County, center of the beautiful Driftless region of southwest Wisconsin. Perfect for a quiet, nature-based retreat, we are less than four hours drive from Chicago, Milwaukee, and the Twin Cities. Our 9 acre property offers a beautiful trail that leads to gorgeous sunset views, through the forest. A true nature-lover's paradise!

Maggie's Place at Echo Valley Farm

Enjoy simple living in this cabin set in the heart of our farm. Walk the property or go the short distance to Wildcat Mountain State Park or to Kickapoo Valley Reserve. A hiker's paradise you can also enjoy fresh baked goods from our bakery May through October, or pre order year round. Linens on 2 comfortable beds, bottled water and wash water, coffee maker, electric kettle, fire pit, charcoal grill and a non chemical port-o-let. No frig. No pets. LGBTQ owned and operated. 20 Acre Farm- Goats, Games & Movie Theater Access

Escape the crowds and unwind on a secluded 20-acre Wisconsin farm surrounded by whispering pines. Enjoy starlit nights by the firepit, mornings with farm-fresh eggs, and friendly goats who love going on walks. (Must walk up a handful of outdoor stairs) Unique, peaceful, and affordable - Daniel’s Place is 3 blocks from the Riverlife walking path, leading directly to downtown, and 3 miles away from Granite Peak Ski Resort. Daniel’s Place is the perfect spot for weekend ski trips, city biking, trying local restaurants, farmers markets, kayaking, and exploring the city of Wausau. Come make yourself at home 🙂

Grapevine Log Cabins, based in Sparta WI, offers pet friendly cabin rentals on a family dairy farm. Amenities and activities include: a walking trail, bike trail, cows in pasture, indoor and outdoor fireplaces, grills outside (there is no cooking in the cabins), Air Conditioning, Heat and firewood is supplied. Nearby activities include: canoeing, fishing, 4 wheeling, antiquing, and superb scenic sites. Pet Policy: Pets may stay with you for an extra $25 per pet/night.

Driftless Glamping on a Bluff

Rustic camping in the Driftless Region on the top of a bluff in a 20ft. Bell Tent. Relax, without having to pack, set up camp, and tear down and put away when you get home, more time to do things you enjoy. Go trout fishing, walk or ride the Omaha Trail Tunnel, Elroy- Sparta Trail, or the 400 Trail. Necedah Wildlife Refuge, Buckhorn, Castle Rock, Wisconsin Dells, Amish scenic drive, and Wildcat State Park with canoeing down the Kickapoo River are all within 30 minutes.
