YurtCation

YurtCation is an off-grid getaway with lake frontage and nature trails. There is another yurt about 300ft up the same driveway. There are a total of two yurts and two homes that have access to the same 17 acre lake. Each yurt has their own queen-sized comfy bed, wood stove, Weber grill w/charcoal, fire pit, firewood, fresh water, canoe, and clean Porto Potty. The yurts are about 80 feet from the lake’s ordinary high water mark to comply with zoning. We are fully permitted and have many repeats.

Staying in a dome amidst nature is a unique experience. The cozy dome has a queen size bed, night stands, a seating area, mini fridge, and a k-cup coffee maker & heater/ac. At night, the starry sky and nature's sounds lull you to sleep. Waking up, you feel refreshed, and the peaceful surroundings and breathtaking views leave a lasting impression.

Make many memories together skipping rocks, catching fireflies, eating smores, taking in the beautiful views, and sharing laughs.

You can see the lake from the first steps in the door. It's modern and bright. The property sits higher up from the lake giving you an eye-level view of the peaceful surroundings. Sasquatch Shores: Cozy Lakeside Cabin on Star Lake

Resting on Star Lake and tucked into the north woods, this tiny home offers the tranquility you need to completely decompress. The Sasquatch Shores cabin is right on Star Lake, a quiet no wake lake that gives you the peace and quiet you want. Watch the sunset off of the dock or cast a line into the water! The cabin is also situated right on the ATV trail. The main offers a King sized bed and the guest room offers a Queen/Twin Loft bed. There is also sectional couch as a sleeping option!

Get away from it all! This charming little home is perfectly located on a dead-end street, a short drive to either Menomonie or Eau Claire. Upon arriving, you will feel a sense of calmness and seclusion. Relax to the sounds of the falls and the birds singing. Wander the gardens and play in the spring fed lake. Read a book in the hammock or simply stare at the reflection on the calm lake. We offer a canoe, rowboat, 2 kayaks, and S.U.P for exploring as well as a grill and fire pit area.

Hunt Hill's Rustic Log Cabin

Welcome to Hunt Hill Nature Center! We are a public, non-profit learning center and nature sanctuary. Our historic Log Cabin is nearly a century old and offers a peaceful retreat in the woods. All the furniture was updated in 2018. The Log Cabin is located just outside of the main camp, settled on top of a hill overlooking pristine forest habitat. Nearby towns offer additional entertainment or relax in our quiet setting while reading a good book in front of the stone fireplace.
