The Piggery is delightful. Everything you need home from home. Welcoming, clean, log burner made my partners day. What is it about men and fires? Delicious village pubs and accommodation in a great location for every village/town. It would be nice to have a bit of a barbecue/garden area for the long lazy summer nights. Although we stayed end of March. Would highly recommend and we will certainly be returning. Thank you.

I stayed here whilst having some work done at my home, it was a very welcome retreat in the evenings as the apartment is furnished with everything needed and was in a very peaceful location. As I live quite local anyway I was familiar with area which I can highly recommend, Liz was always friendly when passing, taking an interest in how the work at my home was progressing. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a cosy, well priced , peaceful place to stay.

We loved the cottage, it is step back in time and has a great character and atmosphere. We had good weather and enjoyed sitting in the garden in the mornings. It is full of interesting objects and is cosy especially with being able to light the fire in the evenings, to warm the room and had good central heating that could be adjusted also. One of the most Peaceful locations we've ever stayed at, and little light pollution as there were no street lights. Highly recommend as a good location, be aware of the steep stairs as they spiral. Parking is limited and you need to be prepared to carry luggage etc for a short distance and be respectful of others that have to park up the edge of the lane. Bring a torch if you go out at night. Very good host and friendly neighbours, felt like we were locals for the week. Highly recommended especially if you like quaint cottages.
