Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Wokingham

Such a beautiful house - cosy, comfortable, nicely decorated & much larger than I expected! The house is well located for going out and about in Abingdon, or taking the short bus ride into Oxford city centre from the bus stop 2 minutes away from the house. Plenty of nice shops & supermarkets within walking distance, as well as a fun Mexican restaurant and a friendly parkrun. The house is super well equipped, and the hosts are helpful & responsive with super clear check in / parking instructions. Would highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay in Ruth's cottage, we have no complaints. The area was central to what we wanted to do and the cottage itself is lovely and cosy. The kitchen was fully equipped and has a dishwasher, which we found a welcome surprise, who wants to wash up on holiday? The bedrooms are comfortable with blackout blinds, we all slept well, but there is a road outside so if you are a light sleeper or have children perhaps the back bedroom would suit them more. We particularly enjoyed using the snug, where a few games of chess were played. There are lots of board games to choose from. This is our first time using an airbandb, we found the whole experience good and we shall use again, but I doubt we will be able to come back to Ruth's cottage as we think it will book up really quickly! Thanks for a lovely stay.

The cottage is peaceful and private, as well as being in a beautiful location. Alastair and Vicky are excellent hosts and were most responsive to my requests. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. Every comfort was taken care of - we loved it and can’t wait to return. The house is beautiful, very comfortable and clean. The gardens are lovely. It was a perfect base to explore Oxford with the bus stop conveniently close. Our hosts had given us all the local info and made us so welcome. Eva was a fantastic host - so friendly, communicative and very accommodating. We stayed in the property over Christmas - it was very spacious and beautifully decorated for Christmas. Eva made it feel so welcoming and homely for us. She left welcome treats for the children and the adults, and a manual with all the ‘need to know’ information. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with all the utensils we needed for our Christmas dinner! The property is superb and in the most beautiful location. We enjoyed many walks around the local countryside and enjoyed watching the wildlife in the back garden - deer, foxes, pheasants, squirrels, as well as the resident chickens! We had the perfect stay. Thank you so much to Eva and her family.

The living space was perfect!.. getting to the space felt a little strange but as soon as we were in we were safe and comfy and had all we needed. The fittings are all of a high spec and the rooms have air con which was lush! The bathroom was beautiful, as was the kitchen. Check in and out was smooth (sorry that we woke you) and location for the Harry Potter tour was perfect.

Nadia’s place was exactly as described and looked just like the photos! Nadia was a lovely host and very attentive. My partner and I had a really lovely time! Would definitely book again!

We truly loved Ravi’s apartment. Our first night we unfortunately had an issue with the boiler not working but Ravi was responsive and quick to have the issue resolved. The place is exactly as pictured in a nice neighborhood with charm. The bus stop is right outside the front door which made for easy transit. Also, the store just below the apartment was wonderful for purchasing breakfast items! We will definitely recommend that friends stay here and we’d return for another trip as well! Ravi made our trip perfect!

Excellent base for a work stay in Wallington: very comfortable and brilliantly located.

This was a perfect spot to escape to for a weekend. The Airbnb has everything you need for a place to crash and be super comfortable. The surrounding area is gorgeous and quick to get to anywhere you fancy going within the Hampshire Downs/New Forest. Johan went above and beyond as a host when he noticed that I happened to be South African too - a really lovely touch - can’t rec his spot enough!

Always a lovely place to stay in a beautiful home in a lovely garden leading down to the river. A great place to stay if you like walking as the countryside is very accessible, but also in easy reach of London.

We made a last minute booking on Sunday evening and messaged Jenny to see if she would be able to accommodate us. To our amazement she replied and could have us. The communication was perfect, instructions were clear, and she even let us have a late check out, and the bonus of having a travel cot (to save our boot space) was incredible. Jenny couldn't have been more helpful, her space was incredible and we're already speaking to see when she is free at some stage throughout the year. Thank you Jenny again.

Afsoon was a wonderful and attentive host. Easy to communicate with and keen to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The house is immaculate and peaceful - I could lie in bed and listen to the birds first thing. She offered to cook us dinner, for very reasonable price, which was a delicious Persian 3 course meal. We stayed here as we had to be at Dorney lake early. Although close to the lake, it is a bit of a drive to get to the other side. I would highly recommend staying here.

The Villa is a beautiful accommodation. Great location. Amazing setting with the horses nearby. The house is immaculate. The host, Michelle, goes above and beyond to accommodate.
