The cozy miller's house, built in 1860, is a typical thatched cottage in a rural location. It invites you to feel good and relax on 141 square meters of living space and a large garden. The Wadden Sea and the North Sea are only 5 km away. Upon arrival, the beds are already made, 1x towels/linens per person are included. Your favorite pet (for a fee of €5 per day) is welcome here. Our eco-wooden house is located in the small town of Süderhastedt between the Kiel Canal and the North Sea. We ourselves live in Hamburg and have discovered this region away from the tourist hustle and bustle as an oasis of peace and a counterpoint to the big city. In the morning the rooster crows, in the evening the flames crackle in the fireplace and at night a heavenly peace under a clear starry sky. After the unfortunate fire of our cozy thatched cottage, we now have a light-flooded wooden house.

Have a nice time in the countryside. The farm is in an idyllic secluded location and is very child-friendly. Enjoy time relaxing in nature, having barbecues in the garden, going for walks, cycling, visiting our pygmy goats and Silkie chickens in the petting zoo (alpacas = not petting animals), or going on excursions in the surrounding area. Our garden and pond offer a variety of seating options, inviting you to while away the time. At the North Sea (6 km) you can swim, mudflat hiking and surfing.

The Reetdachhaus Bischoff is an exclusive country house dating back to 1620—one of the oldest homes in the region—located by the North Sea, where tradition, comfort, and culinary enjoyment meet. This lovingly maintained property is available for your exclusive use on a 3,000 m² plot. Our little Mukelbude is just the right place for a little break from everyday life and who wants to with families and farm connection. The chickens are especially looking forward to it! Inge's small farm is suitable as a starting point for numerous excursions in the area. The Kiel Canal is just around the corner, the North Sea about half an hour and the Baltic Sea about an hour away by car. Hamburg and Kiel are also an hour away. The town of Pommesgabel is about 7 km away.

In the district town of Heide, 20 km from the North Sea, we offer part of our house as a complete, completely separate residential unit of approx. 120 m2 for max. 4 people. The apartment is located in a quiet residential street, about 15 minutes walk to the Heide center/market square and is very convenient as a starting point for walks in the moor, forest and for bike tours. Bikes can be stored and the car can be parked right outside the front door.

The sea or the nearest swimming spot is 5-10 minutes away by car. Meldorf is the nearest town, about 10 minutes away by car, where, for example, shopping can be done.
