De Oude Smederij

The Oude Smederij is located in an agricultural area on the outskirts of the village of Arum (on the Elfsteden route) and is centrally located between Harlingen (on the Wadden Sea with ferry services to Vlieland and Terschelling), Franeker (Planetarium and Frisian Museum), Bolsward (Broerekerk) and Makkum, located on the IJsselmeer with boulevard and beach.

Within 15 minutes by bike (available for hire), you can be at Potten Beach or in the bustle of the town, while on your return you will once again enjoy the tranquillity of the Frisian countryside. The perfect combination of vibrancy and relaxation. The detached húske is stylishly and tastefully furnished and equipped with every comfort.

The house offers three bedrooms each with en-suite bathroom. It’s understated elegant interiors have been published in the UK House and Garden and the Residence interior magazines. Guests get to use the grand blue room with velvet clad walls and the souterrain kitchen with wood burning stove. There is a peaceful city garden with BBQ and outdoor seating. In the winter one can enjoy cosy evenings besides the various fireplaces, long dinners in the kitchen or baths in one of the bathrooms.

This spacious, detached upstairs apartment has a sheltered roof terrace and a living room with lots of windows that offer views of the famous Oldehove and the green, water-rich Prinsentuin. The spacious kitchen has all the facilities to prepare a delicious meal. The house has 3 bedrooms, a crib and high chair, 3 toilets, 2 bathrooms. A free parking space outside and a separate indoor garage to be booked.

De Waard van Hidaard

On the Hidaard mound, you will stay in the stylish front house of our old farmhouse, with its own entrance and facilities. Our house has a spacious kitchen-diner and 2 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. If you book for 2 people, you will get the ground floor, i.e. the kitchen and 1 bedroom. If you want to use 2 bedrooms, you must book for at least 3 people. Wake up to the sound of birdsong, panoramic views and the cosy warmth of the wood-burning stove.

Sleeping with the sheep & a whole herd of horses.

Wake up to the view of the dining room of a herd of horses that live in freedom, 2 pigs who make their bed every night in front of the window and sometimes a sheep walks by. Closer to the pure things in life. There is therefore no Wi-Fi and no TV. There is a large table for playing games together and a lovely sofa for enjoying a glass of wine together. Making beautiful memories together! And even better, the first lambs will be born in early October!

It HavenNêst

This beautiful building has been completely restored in 2024/2025. This centrally located accommodation is tastefully decorated and is located in the heart of Workum overlooking the harbor and the large church. All the shops, restaurants and museums are in walking distance . One of the most beautiful city squares of Friesland "De Merk" just a stone's throw away. There is plenty of parking space around the cottage. Pets are allowed after consultation.

Guesthouse Út fan Hús

The Út fan hús apartment has two bedrooms with a double bed, a living room with sofa bed, a kitchen with fridge and bathroom with shower and toilet. The apartment has its own entrance. From the apartment, you have a wide view over the Frisian Greiden. It is located on the water, where you can swim and fish. You can also use 1 or 2 person canoes, a boat and bicycles for free. The city of Sneek is a 15-minute drive, Leeuwarden is a 30-minute drive.
