Great place to stay for a short break. Lots to do nearby and some great cafes and dog walks close by or further afield. Beverley was very helpful and always on hand to ask questions or help out with anything. Would recommend.

A really enjoyable week. Like all old cottages, this one is quirky but really well maintained and sensitively modernised. It's in a great location with easy access to the local pub/ restaurant and local shop for basics as well as just a few minutes walk to the beach and coast path. Also a brilliant location for other attractions such as the excellent local museums (Tank Museum - highly recommended), Fleet Air Arm Museum and the abandoned village of Tyneham). The cottage is compact (tall people, watch your head!) but really well equipped with quality fixtures and fittings and linen. Cleanliness was second to none - it was spotless. While it is beside a local road there's very little traffic and its garden is well screened and private, as is the parking. The welcome provisions were very much appreciated and tided us over perfectly until we could get out to the shops. Great communication from Kate who looks after the place when we had a couple of questions. Highly recommended.

Just perfect! Ideally placed for exploring the Dorset coast. So convenient for Tiger Day at the Tank Museum. The barn is immaculate, clean and comfortable. The kitchen is particularly well equipped. The bath room is spotless and drench shower is a treat. Lovely outlook. Jan and Eric were perfect hosts. This place has raised the bar for this type of accommodation. We will return. Without doubt.
