Just a little getaway after Valentine’s Day with my girlfriend and a must say what a gem of a place. Calm and peaceful surroundings with all the amenities you need inside the cottage, Cosy, Clean and beautiful, everything you need for a few days away to take your mind off things. The hot tub is a brilliant place after a long day to chill, relax and take your mind off everything that is going on. We will definitely be returning to this wonderful little place in the not too distant future. 👍

Me and my partner stayed over valentines weekend. When we arrived there was a heart balloon and welcome hamper, which was lovely. The hideaway was just perfect for the two of us and the weekend was just what we needed. Would definitely recommend staying here, and would definitely stay again.

The pod was much bigger and much more luxurious thab we had expected. Our hosts had provided a welcome basket with snacks and all the home comforts we could need. The pod and its outside area were private and very clean. Lights came on in the evening which added the most lovely atmosphere. The pod was cosy over night even when the temperature outside dropped. Truly enjoyed our stay and would return in a heartbeat. All communication and check in instructions were clear and easy to follow.

The pod was beautifulf, very clean and had all the bits you need for a break away. having the fencing around the pod gave us the privacy we was looking for and had you own little garden area with seating and a hot tub. the hot tub was pre heated so was ready for us at arrival. the egg chair was so comfy I wanted to take it home. inside the pod itself was decorated to a high standered. the shower had great water pressure and was nice and hot. The bed was also comfy as were the chairs inside the pod. we felt like we had a warm welcome with a welcome basket on arrivle and a welcome pack that gave us an insight on what's in the local area and recommendations on where to eat out locally, also included a list of places in the area too. We had such a peaceful stay and will be back again. Just what we needed to give ourselves a reset.

My partner and I had the best couple of nights away at Ash Bank. Great location, with only a short and cheap uber ride into the centre. The house was perfect, interior was incredible and Vanessa provided all the added extra touches to make it so homey. The hot tub in the garden is bonus too! Vanessa is a PERFECT host, fantastic communication and super thoughtful leaving a card and bottles for our anniversary. We will definitely be coming back to stay and making it a regular thing!

Anvil Cottage was the perfect retreat for my partner's birthday! We were looking for a cosy, relaxing weekend getaway and the cottage exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the coziness and thoughtful touches throughout the cottage. It truly felt like a home away from home and the pictures don’t it justice as others have mentioned. The highlight without a doubt was the private hot tub. After a day of exploring the beautiful surrounding area, it was the perfect way to unwind and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The location was ideal: close enough to lots of lovely Welsh Villages where you can find some equally lovely pubs, restaurants and shops, yet secluded enough to feel like a proper escape. Lots of gorgeous walks and scenery to explore. We were thoroughly impressed with the attention to detail and the small touches provided by Helen who was brilliant from start to finish. A truly memorable birthday celebration and we would highly recommend to others.

the Eaton Barn was a fantastic place to stay. The pictures and description don't do it justice, 4 large double bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and multiple sitting areas made for the perfect space for our family. Very peaceful surroundings and great location for getting around Chester, Manchester etc... Hosts responsive to our questions and needs and were very helpful. All amenities and toiletries provided including tea, coffee and bathroom items. The hot tub and games provided were great after a long day out exploring. Had it not been for getting home for the Scotland game, we would've loved to stay longer! Highly recommend and would definitely be back.

We stayed here for a few days whilst visiting. Although we knew the Wirral, we were less familiar with the old village side of Heswall. With beautiful views over the Dee to North Wales, this property is comfortable and well presented, as well as being spotlessly clean. There is a pub literally across the road, and local village shops a few minutes' walk away. There are good walks along the Wirral Way ( a disused railway line) within a few minutes of the house. We lived our stay there and would thoroughly recommend the property and Lisa's hosting.

The downstairs is so well planned, with a lovely kitchen/ conservatory space, and the lounge doors fully open to extend the space if needed. Very airy and spacious, yet snug too! Clever. Front room gets the sun later in day, and sunset views over the field are beautiful. Downstairs bathroom is large and shower is fantastic! Beds are very comfortable and duvet covers etc are soft and good quality, with additional throws and pillows if needed. Upstairs has 2 very good size double bedrooms, plenty of space for luggage and another good bathroom. Several velux windows that can be opened, and the only sound to hear is birds. The kitchen is very well stocked with pans/ utensils etc, central island hob is great for sitting and watching the chef at work! The garden is beautiful, and very private. Wysteria was in full bloom, and all shrubs are well established. Fully fenced in too, so pets can roam without worry. Definitely recommend this beautiful tranquil haven.

One of the best holiday cottages we've stayed in. Very clean, cosy and quirky, with loads of thoughtful touches. Well equipped kitchen, lovely welcome hamper, even a tin of biscuits for the dog. We wanted a coastal location with walks from the door, with places to eat and drink nearby, and we got just that. It was also beautifully quiet at night so we slept like logs. Loads to explore nearby by car, train and ferry. Totally recommend a New Brighton break! Thanks Kate. We had a fabulous time. :-)

Overall stay was wonderful. Walkable distances to most of the attractions and pubs.

Diane is an amazing host and this Airbnb is truly a gem. The location is beautiful, quiet and the views from the cottage our over the fields are amazing. The cottage is luxurious spacious and incredibly well equipped. The kitchen had everything we could want including a proper espresso machine. The local towns are good and have plenty of restaurants and shops, our host also shared several amazing local dog walks with us.

Excellent accommodation, exactly as described. Two well appointed bedrooms with powerful hot showers. We really appreciated the toys, tractor and box of Lego which kept our grandson busy for quite a few hours. Very welcoming hosts, and two lovely labradors who came to say hello. Only a short drive to Loggerheads Country Park for a great walk with lovely scenery.

Beautiful clean and private. Chris is an amazing host and this is a little gem for anyone looking for a stop over for work or a little hidey-hole tucked away in the middle of suburbia with a gorgeous suntrap garden hidden away at the end. Highly recommend!

This cottage was a joy to stay in and offered a relaxing, private and peaceful space during a hectic few days. Daniel was incredibly pleasant to communicate with and offered local knowledge and recommendations as well as some much appreciated special touches. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this little gem in a pretty pocket of the Wirral. Thank you Daniel!

Last minute decision to travel but Emma was great & knowing we wouldn’t be checking in until late went out of her way to call over to & put on the outside light so we could locate the cottage easier. Lovely touch providing milk, bread & a couple of snacks as was able to pop kettle on upon arrival. Clear list of instructions left for use of television, heating, shower etc & contact details should anything go wrong. Cottage was immaculate & exactly as described - very peaceful street. Would definitely recommend as in ideal location for so many areas of the Wirral or crossing the water into Liverpool itself. Thank you Emma

Visited in winter. This cottage was lovely. Exceptionally clean and tidy. Very comfortable. Lovely big bed downstairs with en-suite bathroom. Spacious bedroom upstairs. We visited one of the pubs recommended (The Morris Dancer) which was amazing, great ambiance and food was delicious. Short drive to Chester and Cheshire Oaks. Would love to return in summer to experience the walks from doorstep!

Everything was really lovely, but we did have problems finding the cottage. I think it would help if one of the photo's was of the outside. We had driven past a couple of times. Whilst we really only slept there, everything that we needed was there and very comfortable. Sandra was lovely and the welcome hamper was gratefully enjoyed.

Excellent place to stay. Lovely, stylish, cosy cottage. Great location. Aurore is a really helpful host. Plenty of nice walks on the doorstep. Brilliant village pub. Would recommend.

Gary’s place was immaculate and very comfortable. It would be hard to imagine a better location for visiting Parkgate. Gary responded quickly to questions. We had a great stay there and would definitely choose it again next time we’re in the area.

Stayed here with a friend for his birthday as we wanted a good ‘home base’ to come and go to as we spent time in Chester. The location was absolutely perfect for our needs, close to the bus and train station, right next to the city and very close to the river as well! The home itself was exactly what was needed as well, a perfect place to relax with all of the amenities you need. A great location to stay if you want to explore Chester for a while
