Curlew Retreat is a lovely garden cabin which had everything that I needed. The location is peaceful with lovely views, and it was great to have my own entrance and off-street parking. Iain was helpful and friendly. The location was perfect for me to visit Cavenham Heath, RSPB Lakenheath Fen and Norfolk Wildlife Trust Weeting Heath, and I would definitely rebook if in the area.

I would highly recommend this house to anyone. My children enjoyed their stay since there was a lot of open space for them to play in. They also enjoyed seeing the aircraft flying in the mornings. It was lovely, had everything we needed, the only issue was the heating system.

Barton Mills is a hidden gem, not just the meeting point of A11 and A14. Newmarket is a stone’s throw away. The National Horse Racing Museum is excellent. The race track itself easy to reach. Then there is the history of Breckland vs Fens. Great dog walking.

Perfect location for our visit to nearby Mildenhall. Spacious accommodation with everything needed on hand. Extremely comfortable bed, really nice shower, all perfect for us, thank you for sharing your beautiful annex. Highly recommend to other guests 😁
