Ivywood cottage is medieval in age, but contemporary in design, with luxurious finishes and fine detailing. The house is in a unique rural setting and was once part of the Gawdy Hall Estate. The house sits next to a beautiful 15th century church, set within a 3 acre church yard. Glorious and plentiful Waveney Valley walks in all directions. Guests have complete privacy and run of the house, including a private garden. We respect our guest's privacy, and are on call for any advice or assistance that you may need during your visit. The cottage is a short picturesque drive from the coastal gems of Southwold and Aldeburgh. Harleston and Bungay are quintessential English towns with charming independent stores, delis, family butchers, bistro cafes, pubs, restaurants, and tea shops. It's the countryside, most people drive. Diss is the mainline station between London and Norwich and is just 15 minutes by car. Cycling is very popular and the cottage is on a regular time trial route. Buses are very reliable and the village is well serviced making it easy to hop between Suffolk and Norfolk villages. There is fabulous walking from the cottage. Located in the Waveney Valley paths such as Angles Way which follows the Waveney river valley are right on your doorstep.

Chestnut Lodge is situated in an acre of private gardens set in a quiet rural location, with far reaching countryside views. The Lodge dates back to circa 1750, originally the cow barns on the farm. We purchased the property in 2017 and renovated one of the cow barns to the Lodge adding all the original character with salvaged exposed oak beams throughout and furnished to a luxury standard. Only a 3 minute walk to the train station, and good amenities close by.

There is a separate bedroom, bathroom & a second seating area which can be converted to a small double bed upon request.

Queenies Cottage has been sensitively restored to retain many original architectural features whilst providing modern comforts; underfloor heating, a woodburner, fitted kitchen , downstairs wet room and an ensuite shower room to the master bedroom. Set well back from the road, the south-facing, private garden has an additional covered dining space, great in àll seasons. Excellent fast broadband. 2 dogs welcome Queenies is a delightful, light space for 2 guests with a secure garden.

Back Lane Cottage tucked away in a Norfolk hamlet

You will find Back Lane Cottage tucked away in a lane in a hamlet called Eastgate. It is a two bedroom, fully renovated old property with lovely field views and is pet friendly. Downstairs is an open plan kitchen, dining and living area as well as a bathroom that has a shower over the bath. There is lots of storage space and there is a TV and full fibre broadband. Upstairs one bedroom has a king size bed and the other has two single beds. Between them is a toilet with hand basin.

Located on the edge of an attractive South Norfolk village, The Snug is a self-contained annex in part of a 17th Century Cottage. The village shop is a short walk away and the centre of Norwich is only a 20 minute drive. This area is popular with cyclists due to the quiet routes and a host of cycle friendly cafes.
