Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Xeropotamos

We had a great stay at the place. The large garden and the great views of the bay of Heraklion were amazing. The house itself was a little smaller than expected, especially with two almost adult children. The surfaces of the kitchen could have been cleaner and the dishwasher was unfortunately broken. These were the only criticisms. Jannis took care of us touchingly and contacted us again and again. The house is fantastically located at the end of a dead end and Google does not know the way there, but the directions from Jannis and Evi are perfect. A small tip: a car is mandatory! All in all it was a great holiday.

I really enjoyed staying here. The view, the tranquility and in general the apartment was a dream to be in. I felt right at home and didn't want to leave. Always happy to come back. Highly recommend this property.

I would give this place 10 stars if I could. If you aren’t sure if you should stay here or not, I promise you will love the place. It’s beautiful and the host was there to help me and answer questions. He even came to meet me when I got lost so I could follow him to the house! The inside of the house is absolutely gorgeous. The host left us inside enough food, snacks, and beverages to last a week, which was such a pleasant surprise. I recommend renting a car as access to the city is not within walking distance but even in the neighborhood there are two small restaurants and a little convenience store practically right outside the gates of the house. Heraklion is fun and Crete is a beautiful place to rent a car and visit sites. Even balos beach is doable in one day from there if you plan ahead. Then there are other beaches much closer and easier like Voulisma to the east. Or you can take a beautiful drive through the mountains and eat a great with w a view. Much to do! House is perfect!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Manoli’s! The house was stunning, nestled in a beautiful village that made our two-night stay even more special. The property was fully equipped with everything we needed, making it feel like a home away from home. The host was excellent, maintaining great communication. We also loved the nearby restaurant, which was superb and added to the overall experience. We truly had a great time and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

An oasis of calm close to the seafront, harbour and old town. The house is beautifully renovated and as all that you need for your stay. Communicating with the owners was excellent & we got an instant response. It would have been helpful to have a bit more information about services in the immediate area especially grocery shops. Overall we had a lovely stay and would recommend to others.

Great appartement near the centre but in a very quiet street. Very good size with air conditioning and a little outside terrace for sitting in the evening (shared with the flat across). The only slight problem is the fridge turns off when you leave the flat. But great place, nice and clean :)

Wonderful house, really a green oasis with beautiful plants. The children especially liked the huge outdoor area: the trampoline, the hot tub, and the swing they loved every corner. There is also a grill, we fried fish in the evening, it was just wonderful. Everything in the house is also comfortable and reasonable: a large dining room, a separate living room, two bedrooms, everything is very convenient. The beach is 2 minutes away by car. There are a lot of beautiful beaches in the area (if you're driving).

Matthaios's place is a really nice and well equipped private house with private garden, very-very close to the beach, in a calm and quiet environment, we liked it here a lot, came with a baby, she had super nice naps :) We got a lot of help from Matthaios, any question I had he responded accurately.

Nikos' place is incredible. It totally transports you to another time and lets you absorb the beauty of the Cretan landscape and nature. We noticed something new every day. Having the pool with stunning views of the mountains and sea, a well-equipped kitchen and an olive tree shaded seating area to eat in, meant we rarely had to leave the place! A holiday to remember forever for us. Thank you

The pictures don’t do this view justice. It’s breathtaking! The home is gorgeous and the outdoor space is wonderful. It was too cold for us to swim but we still enjoyed time at the beach. Most of the immediate area was already shut down for the season during our stay but there is a lovely area about a mile walk away. We spent a lot of time there enjoying the coffee shops and restaurants. The house and rooms were fantastic and there was more than enough space for everyone to relax. The host was amazing and went above and beyond to help us when we left some glasses at a restaurant. Thank you so much for a great stay!!

Our stay at Mama La Roosa Villa was a dream. Petros was an outstanding host who went above and beyond to ensure that we had a relaxing stay in Agia Pelagia. The villa was stunning - it had gorgeous ocean views from every angle, beautiful landscaping, and a modern design with every amenity needed for our trip. The villa felt quiet, private, and safe. We enjoyed watching the sunrise each morning. We enjoyed the pool and backyard dining area so much that we decided to skip the beach! The warm hospitality from Petros is what made the stay - he arranged reservations at the best local restaurants and wineries. We felt that we were able to truly experience Greece thanks to our stay with Petros at Mama La Roosa Villa. We wish we could stay longer and can’t wait to return. We had a delightful and enjoyable stay at VILLA ARIS. The house was comfortable with a beautiful view and provided what we needed for our visit. We experienced a couple of minor issues, but the host addressed them promptly and nicely after we reached out. They were kind and regularly checked in to ensure we were doing well. Overall, a beautiful place to stay while exploring Crete.

We had a fantastic week at Harry‘s place. While the location is a bit remote, supermarkets and a restaurant are still within walking distance. For anything else, we had a rental car. The accommodation is excellently equipped. We were 7 people and more than enough dishes in the kitchen. We also made great use of the outdoor grill and pizza oven. Both the house and the outdoor areas are well-maintained, with someone coming every other day to clean the pool and tend the garden. I can definitely recommend this place to anyone!

We had such an incredible stay here! The house was amazing and was perfect for us 8 adults and 2 children). The house and view were even more stunning in person than we had anticipated. Super fresh and wonderful, large pool. The garden is beautiful, and the view is, again, mesmerizing. The service was excellent. Very friendly host. Responded very quickly to messages or calls. One late evening we locked ourselves out, and we got help immediately! Melidoni is a cozy village with nice restaurants, just a 5-minute walk from the house. I would gladly come here again and highly recommend it!

We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay at Alexandros's villa. Alexandros met us at Heraklion airport on arrival and showed us the way to the villa. The villa had everything we needed for our 10 day stay, set in a very quiet, relaxing location overlooking olive groves and vineyards. The local tavernas offer an amazing selection of good quality food and they are mostly run by families. You can really enjoy the famous Cretan hospitality. Alexandros was always on hand to assist with anything we needed including restaurant recommendations and questions about the local area. We are already planning our stay next year! very quiet place, perfect for a city escape, very modern and lobely decorated

Very nice house, in the middle of olive trees. Quite place in the nature but with a car you are fast at the beach, small town or to other villages. The next village is very close and has a small beautifull center with restaurants. We got nice presents (local products) when we arrived. The Hosts are very friendliy and helpful.

Look no further! Aura Villa is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful views. The villa is very spacious and had everything we needed. We almost didn’t want to leave! Make sure you visit George’s restaurant down the street. The owner George and his wife are so kind and the food was delicious.

The name Golden View is exactly what you get. The view is phenomenal. Especially in the early morning when the sun rises you can see why it's called Golden View and it was a pleasure to wake up to this view. The accommodation itself is comfortably furnished. The bathroom is kept a little small. Due to a missing shower wall, the bathroom is flooded, but also dries again due to the existing drain. The outdoor facilities are absolutely top. We often used the great and large barbecue area with the large stone barbecue. The pool area with the many loungers is fantastic. Emmanuel was a great host and very helpful. On the first day he even drove us to the supermarket, waited and drove back again so we didn't have to carry as much. He also always had tips ready for us. We were even invited in the circle of a family dinner and treated very courteously. Hospitality is paramount here.

We spent a week at Margarita's house. This one matches the listing perfectly. It's a house "in its juice", but in an absolutely amazing setting, quiet and finally quite close to the places to visit. Margarita was a very kind, welcoming and caring host. She lives on the lower floor of the house, but remains very discreet. Her home has totally independent access. The view from the main room of the house is fabulous, same from the deck and pool. We spent long hours contemplating the hills, the sea and the sunsets. We recommend this place for its unique side. Even though the house is a little old-fashioned, it's nice to live in and comfortable.

Charming place! Aristeidis and his wife Marina are very polite, attentive and hospitality people! During all our rest they were ready to answer any our questions and give advice and help! The villa is very beautiful and comfortable! It is well equipped with different devices! From the second there is charming view all around! The private swimming pool was very clean and gave us possibility to enjoy private rest! The size of the pool is enough even for the big company! Sakalani is very cosy village with beautiful delicious taverns! There are many different olive and grape farms near the village! The villa is situated only 10 minutes from Heraclion! Definitely I and my family are very thankful to Aristeidis for our wonderful rest and time that we spent on his Vila! I strongly recommend this place for the vacations on Crete!

Marina is a great host, always there to answer and help with any questions or issues. The apartment is great and such a perfect location. Ligaria was brilliant, not too busy when we visited in June. We took a tour to Matala which we loved. A very special place. I’ve already recommended Ligaria and this apartment to a friend. The local people were also very friendly and polite. I’d come back again for sure :)
