Located along the Tornionjoki River, the cottage is the choice of fishermen and holidaymakers who love the river landscape. Marjosaari is a great place to watch and photograph the Northern Lights. There are several attractions nearby and the opportunity to engage in a variety of activities. You can also easily visit Sweden, which can be reached via the Aavasaksa bridge.

Relax along the beautiful Kemijoki River in a charming log cabin from 1811. Renovated with modern amenities in 2021. In the yard, there is a new sauna/toilet and a barbecue hut and a sauna terrace. After the sauna, jump from the sandy beach into the fresh water of the Kemijoki River. On the beach, there is another sauna and a hot tub, which can be rented separately in the summer, as well as a gazebo, a barbecue area and a rowboat. Stay in the tranquility of the countryside in a cozy cottage with river views. The cottage is small, in good condition and has everything you need. Electric sauna, shower, toilet, stove, dishes, fridge and cooking utensils There is a path to the beach and a rowboat in use. The beach is stone-based and has no jetty, so you must be able to swim if you want to take a dip in the river. The property has just been fitted with an air heat pump that keeps the apartment comfortably cool and brings pleasant warmth in winter.

Eräelämys Lapissa! Täällä voit lämmittää ruokaa tulilla ja saunoa puusaunassa. Saunamökki rauhallisella paikalla, noin 25 kilometriä Rovaniemeltä. Sijaitsee toisen mökin pihapiirissä. Saunamökin kuistilta näkymä metsään päin. Vesijohtoa ei ole, vesiastiat ovat täytettynä tullessasi. Tilava sauna. Grillikota käytössäsi (noin 50 metriä mökistä). Kuivakäymälä, johon kulku katoksen kautta. Jääkaappi, vedenkeitin, kahvinkeitin ja mikro. Ei keittolevyä. Liinavaatteet/pyyhkeet sisältyy hintaan.

Nauti illasta nuotion tai takan ääressä, katsele luontoa ja Lapin taivasta, hyvällä onnella näet revontulet. Löydä metsäpolut ja lämmitä illalla puulämmitteistä saunaa. Aitoja lappilaisia kokemuksia ilman kaupungin ruuhkaa. Sijaitsee noin tunnin ajomatkan päässä Rovaniemen lentokentältä luonnonkauniissa pienessä kylässä.

Lapland cabin by a lake

This small, traditional, Lappish, log cabin is located right at lake Norvajärvi shore, only 25 meters to the water. Enjoy the lake view and forest around you, immerse to the nature and its sounds and smells and marvel the northern lights or cosy up by the open fire in winter. We are 20km from Rovaniemi city, apprx 30min drive with no street lights. Cabin has electricity but no running water. We bring you drinking water and washing water in sauna is taken from the sweet water lake.

Me and my husband have built for you a little log villa with love. We have rebuilt place with own hands with touch of local culture. Logs are from 50-century. In case you need a help, we would be helping you because we live very nearby. Help is always near. You will be our quests and we will be there for you.
