OPEN 20 March 2026 Nestled in the mountains of Nara and Yoshino, surrounded by greenery, lies a quiet, traditional Japanese-style inn, where only one group is accommodated per day: B&B Morino Akari.(The name means "Light of the Forest") ⚫︎ During your stay, breakfast and dinner prepared by the owner are included (see photos for reference). ⚫︎ We can also provide meals for pescatarians and vegetarians. The kitchen area is shared with Hotos.The rest of the property is for your exclusive use, and you can enjoy your time as freely as if you were renting the entire building. This spacious area, measuring approximately 230 m², can accommodate up to eight people.Ideal for family or group trips.There is also excellent access to Yoshinoyama, a popular cherry blossom viewing spot, and Kinnosuke-sanji Temple, a World Heritage Site. We have preserved the historic beams and tiled roof while creating a comfortable space for you to enjoy.The tranquillity of the mountains, the gentle light that shines at night.Here, you can enjoy a moment to forget about everyday life. To enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings, we recommend travelling by car. Located in Totsugawa Village, Nara Prefecture, Wakayama and Mie prefectures are right next door, and it is close to tourist attractions such as the World Heritage Kumano Kodo, Rorikyo, Tamaki Shrine, and Kumano Hongu Taisha Shrine, as well as hot springs such as Yuguchi Onsen, Kawa Onsen, Yuno Mine Onsen, and Totsugawa Onsen. The entire space, which includes a loft with a staircase dance and a renovated basement of an old potato field, is also used as a place for artists to stay and create, depending on the period. Located along the Takano Highway, it has great access to Mt. Takano, Osaka, Wakayama City, etc. This room has 2 single beds and 2 semi-double beds. You can enjoy breakfast in a Japanese-style room or relax on the sofa. We also provide free drinks. We can also accommodate English. You can enjoy the garden in all seasons, but especially in May when the roses are in full bloom and you can enjoy the wonderful fragrance. You can also have tea in the garden. Japan's tiny home in Koyaguchi offers two guest rooms, ideal for up to 3 guests, with a minimum of one group per day. An additional fee applies for three or more people. Accessible via JR station with a Japan Rail Pass, it features a kitchen for self-catering and indoor bicycle storage. It’s an 8-minute drive to Natural Onsen Yunosato and a 6-minute walk to Koyaguchinoyu public bathhouse. Directions are available in the guidebook. Please save it to your favorites for easy access.
