OPEN 20 March 2026 Nestled in the mountains of Nara and Yoshino, surrounded by greenery, lies a quiet, traditional Japanese-style inn, where only one group is accommodated per day: B&B Morino Akari.(The name means "Light of the Forest") ⚫︎ During your stay, breakfast and dinner prepared by the owner are included (see photos for reference). ⚫︎ We can also provide meals for pescatarians and vegetarians. The kitchen area is shared with Hotos.The rest of the property is for your exclusive use, and you can enjoy your time as freely as if you were renting the entire building. This spacious area, measuring approximately 230 m², can accommodate up to eight people.Ideal for family or group trips.There is also excellent access to Yoshinoyama, a popular cherry blossom viewing spot, and Kinnosuke-sanji Temple, a World Heritage Site. We have preserved the historic beams and tiled roof while creating a comfortable space for you to enjoy.The tranquillity of the mountains, the gentle light that shines at night.Here, you can enjoy a moment to forget about everyday life. To enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings, we recommend travelling by car. "A scenic place loved by the people of Manyo" Miyataki is a small hamlet in Yoshino, the beautiful home of Manyō, a World Heritage Site and said to be "Japan's top cherry blossom viewing spot". Miyataki was once home to the Emperor's secondary residence, "Yoshinomiya", and is also a place steeped in history where the "Jinshin Rebellion" took place. The Manyoshu contains many poems praising the scenic beauty of Miyataki. This area, where the clear Yoshino River flows, is known as one of the best river play spots in the Kansai region, and during the summer holidays, it is crowded with many visitors who come to play in the river. We decided to renovate a 100-year-old traditional house in Miyataki, where my grandparents lived for many years as umbrella and lantern craftsmen, and revive it as "Chouchin no Yado". Taking advantage of its location "right by the river where you can play", this is an inn that is easy to use even for large groups such as multiple households or friends. We hope you will use it as a base for sightseeing in Yoshino, enjoying the river, and having a BBQ, while feeling the breath of history and nature. There is a private sauna and a water bath (tarai) in the courtyard. If you love saunas, please come and visit.

This guesthouse is located in the area where the green water that boils from Mt. Yoshino creates a high waterfall and pours into the elephant stream. A singer of many leaves and an accompanying traveler, it is a town of many leaves that I fell in love with nostalgically singing. Why don't you spend a relaxing day in nature and life that hasn't changed since ancient times? Dinner and breakfast are not provided. Please feel free to use the kitchen, cooking utensils, refrigerator, etc., and please cook and bring your own. ※ You also need to bring seasonings. One room is 10,000 yen. Available from 2 people. It is not possible to stay with only one person. Additional 5,000 yen per person (However, 2,000 yen for elementary and junior high school students, and free for preschool children). Makomo House is located in a mountain village at an altitude of 500 m on the Oku-Mikawa Plateau in Nara The 100-year-old house is a private rental. Makomo-no-ta, which is said to be "the grass where God dwells", spreads around the inn, and you can relax in your room and feel the "Makomo breeze". You can enjoy the "Medicinal Herb Makomo Bath" at the Irori back table and the Goemon bath, where the well water is heated with firewood. There is no TV or wifi, so why not turn off your digital devices and turn on your own sensibilities? Enjoy the soothing sounds of nature, such as the rustling of makomo leaves, the babbling of the river, the chirping of birds, the chorus of frogs, and the sound of deer.

There are 2 bedrooms(Tatami-room) and 1 living room, gameroom, bathroom, shower toilet, all of the room are only for you. *Children is free of charge if your children don't need a bed and break fast. There are air conditioners in bedroom and livingroom.

HoToLo is a private villa for one group per day in the forest of Soni Village, Nara. It appeared as a filming location in Episode 22 of NHK’s night drama “Radio☆Star.” At 550m above sea level, enjoy cool summer air, a treehouse, BBQ, stargazing, and peaceful forest time. On Aug. 14, you can watch Soni Village’s fireworks from HoToLo. A fully equipped kitchen is available for self-catering.
