Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Yoshino River

We stayed with 6 friends. It was a quiet place, surrounded by nature, and it was a secluded accommodation. The interior was also beautiful, and it was a spacious and fun place for a large group. The check-in time was also free after 3 pm, and the check-out time was 12 o'clock, so I had a relaxing time in the morning. It was a place I'd love to stay again if I get the chance.

If you're looking for a great old-school, homestyle Japanese accommodation, this is your place. As a previous reviewer mentioned, it's a bit like staying at your grandparents' place in the country: It won't have the sleekest and most modern new features, but it's a legit piece of a bygone era. We stayed as a family of five, had a great time. The place was super spacious and comfortable, and pretty well located for what we wanted to do in Shikoku. We rented a car, and I was initially worried about finding restaurants within walking distance of the AirBNB, but the neighborhood was surprisingly good for restaurants! The fish place next door is definitely worth trying, as is the nearby yakiniku place (about 10 min walk). The only downside I could note is that we had Internet issues while we were there. Not a huge deal for us, but it could be for some. I'm sure the host will take care of that for future visitors.

It was a very wonderful 3 night and 4 day trip. It was my first time in a remote island location, but the climate was very accessible, quiet, peaceful, and I loved it. The family of three visited us, but we used the space too large for the three of us luxuriously, heard the sound of the sea, and relaxed while being healed. Basically, we had a BBQ or made a simple lunch in the kitchen. I was also planning to eat out, but it is temporarily closed or booked and inquiries are required in advance. There are days when I bought cup noodles and haggendats at the only JA store on the island, and enjoyed it. The people on the island were also very kind and at home! Thank you very much, Rika. I'm going to Megijima again!

We went to the place as a family of four, as we arrived very late, the place is in the woods and its abit dark and narrow, but with host’s instruction we still manage to find the way in. It’s a renovated old wooden house in the woods, it’s good to experience the old traditional Japanese style. And you can really feel the nature in the morning with singing birds around. Two things to note is the bathroom is separated from the main house and it’s abit not convenient. And highly recommend to arrive daytime so you can see the road clearly. But if you are a nature person, this is a good place to go and it’s also near the Shimanto city which you can do cycling along the river and enjoy the view.

Especially the sauna was spacious, and the water bath was cold and it was a great refresh. This will be a personal matter again, but I wanted to send a bouquet of flowers to my partner, so we consulted in advance. They personally consulted me about various preparations and arrangements, and I was able to give them a bouquet of flowers. I don't think you'll be able to be as accommodating as possible. I arranged to stay here with a group of close friends as we were cycling the Shimanami Kaido, and were all blown away by this stunningly beautiful and incredibly well equipped home. Everyone wished we'd had more time to spend here relaxing. The fridge came full of drinks and suggestions of mixes which we enjoyed. Having frozen local lemons to use as ice was enhanced everything. We'd arranged for the BBQ dinner, which was a delicious feast we devoured after a day of cycling. We were also left an extra gift of excellent oranges and orange daifuku. Sitting in the yard in the morning, looking at the clear blue inland sea made it hard to leave. I really want to come back here to see the whole island in lemon season. This is really a magical home and location. ありがとうございます

They welcomed me at check-in and carefully explained the room. They also fulfilled our requests during our stay. The living room was spacious and the top floor room had a view of Kobe Port, so I enjoyed the view both day and night. Most importantly, I chose it because it was near my relative's house.

Lovely apartment, very convenient and accessible from Shin-Kobe station. Apartment was a good size and with great views of Kobe. Atoo was a super host and I’d thoroughly recommend his place!

it's a very nice place to stay and fits two people comfortably. 3 people is okay too but there might be lesser space. the beds were very comfortable, the place is clean, all the amenities listed are provided. it's easy to find as well. distance to nearest train station is about 12~15mins on foot.

Staying at Mari’s place was a pure bliss. Pretty much everything is a walking distance from it, from groceries, to cafes, touristic places… even the train station is just 30min away if you’re up for just a slightly longer walk. She has clear instructions for absolutely anything and everything, is very responsive, very welcoming… my stay in Okayama felt just like home.

We stayed for several days, but there was no particular dissatisfaction, and we had a very clean environment. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

1. The host is welcoming and responds promptly, because it is a professional homestay. During the stay, we met the host and staff of three people in total, Mandarin Cantonese English and Japanese can be used skilfully and accessible.2, very rarely provided a babyroom and a baby cot, although we didn't use it... 3, the kitchen is fully equipped, and the condiments are all.4, Although it is not very close to sannomiya, there are two buses in front of the station that go directly to the homestay entrance (literally at the door).5, This location has a good night view, Kobe rises from the north elevation to overlook the city and the port on the balcony (smoking XD on the balcony).

Nice owner and great view from the balcony. Mr Atoo is always right to help. The house is big enough for groups. Good location and 10 mins to Sannomiya. Recommend to stay.

The view was good, it was a very quiet and pleasant space, there was a lot of sauna, an outdoor air bath, and the flow of the bath and water bath were perfect!I was able to see the sunrise beautifully.The sauna is also a great memory from the morning. The kitchen was also spacious and very easy to use.The connection to the projector didn't work, but next time, I would like to stay with all my friends!

I went to Koiishima for the first time. There is the Yura Port and the accommodation port, and the inn is close enough to walk from the night port.You can see the house from the boat ~ The place was really as pictured and lovely!The surrounding houses felt like an empty house and played music while BBQing, and I was able to talk to them at ease ~ The sauna was also good!The whole family was very satisfied! However, there is nothing around the night port.It's a good idea to buy anything before you get on the boat!It was easy to get in touch with the host, and I was really happy with the sketchbook, pen, and welcome fruit!I'd love to stay again!Thank you.😊

I used it with the whole family to celebrate my father's calendar. It was so beautiful and spacious that no one would bother anyone even when the kids ran around. The employees were also a very good person. There were several toilets, and every toilet was clean and very helpful.

I visited with my family.The barbecue, bonfire, Heidi-like swing, hammocks, and sea views were also awesome and I enjoyed it.The facilities are clean and safe. Thank you very much. Large cars require quite a bit of driving skills.

The exterior and interior were very stylish and everyone had a tension!There was also a sauna and fireplace, and I enjoyed it like I was at the villa.If I ever come back to Shodoshima, I'd love to stay here again.

There were 5 children and it was noisy, but there was a distance from the surrounding house, so I had a relaxing stay. There were two bedrooms, and I stayed with three relatives. Some of them didn't like insects, but the interior was very clean and I had a pleasant time. Amenities such as water, coffee, and towels were also provided for a few days, which was helpful. The view was also stunning and I had a relaxing time. It was a few minutes drive to my parents' beach. There were many inconveniences such as changing the number of people, but they handled it well.
