Yatsugatake at an altitude of 1150 m, it is a place where people who seek the nature and climate of the highlands live, rather than a tourist destination. Spring brings new greenery and buds, cool summers, colorful autumn leaves, and the warmth of a wood stove. There are also plenty of seasonal activities, such as skiing, hiking, river play, hot springs, and Hokuto City, which is surrounded by famous peaks, has many viewpoints where you can enjoy views of Mt. Yatsugatake, the Southern Alps, and Mt. Fuji. There is also an abundance of spring water. Please try to find them. The building was designed and constructed by the Tokei team, and the team operates it as an inn for many people to use. The distinctive architecture is a redesign of an old townhouse using modern construction methods and traditional materials. Inside, you'll find artwork such as murals and stone carvings of black birds, as well as books and photo collections selected by the host, which you can take your time to enjoy during your stay. * The capacity is 4 people, but if it is only adults, the number of people who can stay comfortably is up to 3 people. * The price shown is for up to 2 people, and 10,000 yen will be added to the accommodation fee for each additional person.

Enjoy a special treat time just for your family in the tranquillity of the forest. The gently soothing private sauna is safe for sauna beginners and allows you to slowly restore your mind and body. With locally produced rice and eggs and authentic Retort curry that you can enjoy without having to cook or think, it's easy for mums too. There is also a large TV and card games in the building, so children can enjoy themselves too. And, on weekdays, we highly recommend a two-night stay. On the first day, you can relax after the fatigue of travelling, and on the second day, you can enjoy the luxury of doing nothing. It's a special treat for the family, unique to weekdays. Spend a relaxing time with friends around the Irori fireplace. You can enjoy the Goemon bath, kamado, and old-fashioned slow life while feeling the season with the wind and sky patterns (there is a cassette stove, IH heater, and shower). You can also cook with a wood stove and BBQ outdoors. 　10 minutes by car from Izumo City Station. Izumo Taisha is 25 minutes away. There is also a hot spring nearby. The 20 tatami mat Japanese-style room is a private bedroom, and the kitchen and toilet are shared. There is a design office in the warehouse, and I work from 8:30 am to 6 pm on weekdays. You can also use the thatched cottage with a good view. 　There is also air conditioning, but in the summer, if you open the veranda and hang a mosquito net, the summer night breeze will invite you to sleep comfortably. From spring to autumn, you can hear the nostalgic sounds of frogs, cicadas, and bell crickets. 　If you are unfamiliar with charcoal or fire, I can help you if the timing is right. Firewood is free, but please bring your own BBQ charcoal if you use the sunken hearth. It is 1.6 km to the supermarket and 5 km to Izumo Station. It feels good to walk or jog along the Tanabe-michi Road and Kawato-te in the early morning. Please keep pets on the dirt floor. In July and August, please pick blueberries from the garden.

This is a fully DIY sauna, developed entirely by JP from design to production, featuring a unique shape that allows heat to circulate naturally.Enjoy a sauna experience you can only have here, surrounded by the gentle warmth of a wood-burning stove. Inside, there is also an irori (traditional hearth) characteristic of a traditional kominka house. You can experience traditional Japanese living, whether it’s enjoying a hotpot around the irori (traditional hearth) or grilling skewers. *Please bring your own ingredients and cooking utensils, such as skewers. The inn is located in a quiet hamlet called Kobusa, nestled in the mountains of Mimasaka City, Okayama Prefecture. Right nearby is Nishi-Awakura Village, which is attracting attention as a village focused on regional revitalisation and relocation, and which is surrounded by a beautiful, nature-rich ‘satoyama’ landscape. This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)
