Our accommodation, "Mummola", is the old main building of our farm in the farmyard in Mehtäkylä. Our accommodation was renovated to a modern standard in 2013, while retaining the atmosphere of an old-fashioned farmhouse. Our property is located in a quiet hamlet of Kalajoki, 17 km from the centre of Kalajoki and 25 km from Hiekkasärki. Our yard is home to rabbits, chickens, cats and a dog. A trampoline, a pedal car and a sandpit are also available for guests to use. There is a barbecue gazebo in the yard with a gas barbecue. In the summer of 2026, a yard sauna will be available.

Charming seaside cottage

The cottage is in a great location by the sea. The yard is sheltered, and there is grass for yard games, for example. From the cottage you can go directly to the rocks to admire the sea and from the rocks you can swim in calm weather. There is also a small beach very close by, where even children can swim. In addition, about a kilometer away there is a large, long and beautiful sandy beach. In summer and autumn, you will find wonderful hiking trails, great berry forests and sea buckthorn bushes on the beach. In winter, Pyhäjoki and Kalajoki have great ski trails.

Marina Sunset Resort is a gorgeous apartment in Kalajoki's Hiekkasärki, right by the sea. The apartment can accommodate 4 people. The apartment has a large double bed in the sleeping alcove and a sofa bed (no separate bedroom). You can admire the sea view from the sauna. The apartment has a spacious glass terrace with direct access to the seashore. The terrace has an electric grill. The kitchen is fully equipped. Free parking in front of the apartment. Winter cottage by the river. The cottage is located at the mouth of the river, 500m from the sea. The cottage has electric heating. There is one bedroom downstairs and a loft upstairs. There is also a wood-heated sauna. In winter, you can easily get to the ice fishing from the cottage, and in summer, you can find good angling and fishing waters. A rowing boat is available. In winter, it is also possible to book kick sleds in advance. A hot tub and a smoke sauna are available at an additional cost.

Cozy, furnished militia house in the center of the Pyhäjoki, the living room is the fourth bedroom. Blankets and pillows are provided. The guest must have their own sheets, pillowcases, and towels. In the yard, an outdoor sauna with good steam, a table group in the dressing room to cool off. In the garden, a table group and a gas grill. Smoking is strictly forbidden, including e-cigarettes!
