Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Zakinthos

Lovely villa. Very peaceful and beautiful surroundings but only a 10 minute drive (€10 taxi) from Zakynthos town. It’s tricky to find but Aliki who lives next door and I guess manages the property was very helpful and spoke to our taxi driver to give directions. Aliki is lovely and nothing is too much trouble.

First of all a big thank to Martha who hosted us with great professionalism and kindness at the same time. She helped us even for a force major issue solving a technical problem instantly. The place is a great and exclusive location. We will surely recommend.

Marva ist eine der besten Gastgeber, welche ich kenne. Herzlich, aufgeschlossen, proaktiv und außerordentlich hilfsbereit. Griechische Gastfreundschaft vom Feinsten. Das Appartement ist neu und war blitzsauber. Kleine Gastgeschenke erwarteten uns. Was uns fehlte wurde großzügig bereitgestellt. Wir sagen nochmals Danke und können diese Unterkunft mit traumhaften Blick nur empfehlen.

Bij aankomst werden we meteen enthousiast en vriendelijk welkom geheten. Hoe de woning staat omschreven in de advertentie, zo zag het er in het echt ook uit! Schoon, ruimtelijk en voldeed aan alle wensen! Top service! De host is vriendelijk en was goed te bereiken voor vragen, activiteiten en tips! Met 11 vrienden hebben we een leuke vakantie gehad!

Die Villa Vissala ist einfach atemberaubend! Wir hatten in all unseren bisherigen Familienurlauben ohne Übertreibung noch nie eine so bezaubernde und besondere Unterkunft. Sybille und Eckhard waren als Gastgeber unglaublich freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns extrem wohl gefühlt. Die Lage, Art und Ausstattung des Hauses ist vermutlich einzigartig. Vom riesigen Pool, den Terrassen unter Olivenbäumen und den Schlafzimmern aus hat man einen grandiosen Blick über die Insel, das Ionische Meer und das nördlich gelegene Kefalonia. Das allein ist für einen erholsamen Urlaub ausreichend & erfüllend. Im nördlichen Teil der Insel gelegen bietet das Haus aber außerdem die perfekte Lage, um die spektakulären Sehenswürdigkeiten von Zakynthos vom Land oder Wasser aus zu erreichen. Das Haus und der Garten ist sehr geräumig, sauber und liebevoll mit viel Stil und Geschmack eingerichtet - es fehlt an nichts. Alles ist lichtdurchflutet. Wir können die Villa Vissala nur empfehlen!

Don't look any further - this place is wonderful! Peaceful, a beautiful view, a few minutes away by car from lovely village with tavernas and shops but also beautiful beaches, and a supermarket less than 1 minute away. Comfortable beds, everything you need and a fantastic porch with incredible views over the Mediterranean sea, adorable cats around. Antonios was so kind, helpful and welcoming. We will definitely stay here again and could not recommend it more!

The family of 4 stayed 3 weeks at Yiannis house. The house is located on the hill above Zakynthos. It is less then 10 m drive to the centre, Port supermarkets and even some beaches. We enjoyed our stay a lot. Yiannis is an excellent host and I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for an accommodation in Zante. He has given us lots of advices, recommendations. He replied any of my messages immediately. The house is big and can easily host up to 6 people. Parking is safe in the backyard. The area is nice, the view from the balconies is stunning! Sunrises are must to see) We were provided with basic welcome package though the house has absolutely everything for the comfortable stay. Thank you Yiannis. We will be happy to consider to book your house again. The house, as actually an entire island, requires to have a car. We dined in nearby Taverna Acrotiri on Yiannis recommendation and we liked it. The food and service was really good.

Such a beautiful location. The view is a dream. The beds and bathrooms were perfect for our family of 5. Our hosts were so responsive and helpful. Great restaurants, shopping bakery and cofre a short walk away. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

très belle et grande maison, emplacement sur les montagnes (ce qui peut gêner un peu au niveau du déplacement) mais extrêmement calme quartier et il fait super frais. C'est parfait pour bien se reposer, nous avons passé de super vacances, merci beaucoup

It was perfect for our trip with our children and young grandchildren. We all felt very comfortable and had a very enjoyable time. The house was very spacious with four goos sized bedrooms and a very large living room, dining room and kitchen with all the equipment one might need. There was a large balcony and table at the front of the house where we enjoyed our meals together outside. The garden was great! It had several seating areas and the children enjoyed running around out there. Our hostess was always kind, very helpful and friendly to us and everyday took away our trash and changed the sheets every three - four days. The house was spotlessly clean and very tastefully decorated. The nearby beach was just right for our grandchildren (aged one and three) and a good time was had by all of us. There are many good restaurants very close to the house. We have to say that this home was one of the nicest places we have stayed in.

The apartment was spacious with everything you would expect from a home from home. Our host was friendly and very helpful, his mother is a lovely lady and was also on hand should we need anything. I would highly recommend this air b&b and look forward to staying there again in the future.

We had a lovely time in Alykanas. The airbnb is beautiful, large, and both bedrooms and the terrace have sea view. The sea is a beautiful blue and the area was quiet. The hosts were easy to reach out to when needed but also respectful of our privacy. They and made us feel at home. They arranged a taxi for us, took us shopping the first day when we didn't have a car, and gave us a small tour of the surroundings. They also have us numbers for tours and to rent a car, which went smooth. We got a sweet handmade present at the end of our stay. Recommended!

An incredible and super modern apartment in the heart of zakynthos; the view was amazing and the host is a 10/10. If i come back would 100% book here again

Das AirBnB war sehr schön, und man hat auch sehr viel Platz. Auch genügen Parkplätze sind vorhanden. Auf der schönen Terrasse kann auch sehr gut dir Zeit verbringen!

Ein wunderschönes, sauberes und sehr gut ausgestattetes Haus in super Lage, abseits vom Trubel mit mehreren Balkone und Verandas. Mann sollte jedoch Motorisiert sein um an die Strände der Umgebung, welche die schönsten der Insel sind, zu kommen.(5-10 Minuten Fährt, je nach Strand..)

fabulous villa in a great setting. plenty of brilliant restaurants offering value food within easy walking distance. if you have a car, there are some great options near volimes also. the host was superb - great instructions and very responsive without being obtrusive. couldn't have wished for better.

We were three families with six adults and five children, so we really appreciated that Anta’s villa is so big. Also the pool area, bbq and tennis court are all lovely and make keeping the kids busy very easy. Anta set up for Maria and Anastasia to cook for us a couple of times- I would highly recommend that as the food was great and the ladies very kind and helpful. Anta also gave us many helpful recommendations. The villa is in a convenient location in the countryside but not too far from zakynthos so it’s easy to get to many things to do. Overall we had a lovely time, the house was lovely and perfect for a big group, Anta and her team were very kind and helpful to us. Thanks a lot!

Wow! The views and the privacy were incredible! The kids loved the pool, the swing set, and the soccer goal. They also had some sand toys for the kids and a swing on the beautiful olive tree! The view and the deck and porch areas were incredible! We sat with a glass of wine and enjoyed the views! You are surrounded by nature, which I loved (next to a farm with cute animal sounds). The shower was incredible too, it was spacious and had a great rain head. AC worked great and each room can control the temperature for sleeping, which was nice. The Keri Lighthouse Restaurant is 5 minutes away, which has great views & good food. Most other villages are about 15-20 minutes away, though small markets are only about 10 minutes away. The opposite side of the island is about 40 minutes away. There is tons to explore on this beautiful island! Paradise! We were sad to leave! This home was perfect and better than the pictures! The hosts went above and beyond to make out stay perfect.

Vi har netop afsluttet en uges ferie i denne smukke feriebolig🌴😎 Billederne af huset er smukke, men virkeligheden er endnu smukkere…En drøm af et sted, som absolut ikke mangler noget👏🏼 Vi har i særdeleshed nydt både pool, hot tub, karaoke og bordtennis🏓💦 Men det som gør opholdet til noget helt særligt er Harris’ værtsskab💪🏼❤️ Vi blev taget godt imod med forfriskninger, da vi ankom og han fortsatte med at forkæle os hele ugen med et servicegen og en hjælpsomhed vi aldrig før har oplevet lignende. Tusind tak Harris, vi kommer helt sikkert tilbage og vi vil anbefale alle andre at booke en ferie med dig som vært😍☀️

Absolutely gorgeous property and perfectly suited to a larger group, we were ten guests and it comfortably slept everyone. It had so many wonderful areas to dine too, from a rooftop terrace, to a romantic barbeque area and poolside table, plus two fantastic long tables inside the property. The pool was wonderful, though bracingly cold - I'm not sure how warm it gets in the heat of the summer as it is quite shaded in the beautiful olive grove. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of bathrooms for everyone to use. My only criticism is a couple of the bedrooms were a little less than ideal due to very steep access or not particularly private spots - one was a curtained off area in the living room. Our host, Anna, was absolutely incredible though, nothing was too much trouble, and she even provided a karaoke machine as evening entertainment for a special birthday celebration! A gorgeous property in a wonderful location, I hope we'll visit again one day.

Villa Meralia was fantastic for our family of five. There are four double bedrooms but we only used the three in the main house as the fourth (en suite) was only accessible through the garden. There are plenty of areas to relax and dine inside and out. The mini golf and giant chess were a hit for us. You will definitely need a car if you want to eat out or explore the island. There are lots of small coves and beaches on the west of the island which are worth exploring so take sea shoes for the kids. Giota was so helpful snd friendly and provided lots of suggestions of where to eat, and arranged an introduction to the boat hire company. We were delighted to find wine, water and pomegranates on an arrival! Highly recommended.

Prachtige villa in het noorden van Zakynthos, geheel privé gelegen aan een klein weggetje omhoog vanaf het adembenemende strand van Makris Gialos Beach. Weg van het massatoerisme, met zicht op de zee, een villa die van alle gemakken is voorzien. Met ook nog eens een heerlijk zwembad. De communicatie en verzorging door de hosts was uitzonderlijk goed en zeer snel en behulpzaam. Het noorden van Zakynthos is wat ons betreft ook het mooiste deel, iets ruiger, bergachtiger en ongerepter dan andere delen van het eiland. Met ook nog eens heerlijke restaurantjes, na elke bocht met onze huurauto weer een ander verbluffend uitzicht en veel van de mooiste strandjes op korte afstand. Elke avond was het echt ‘thuiskomen’ bij het huis. Met nog een plons in het zwembad, zicht op de zee met een opkomende maan, het geluid van de uilen en een stille nachtrust. En dan met de ochtendzon weer ontwaken! Een topweek! Dank aan Francesco en zijn team!

This place was fantastic! The location was perfect, private and peaceful. The villa was clean, stylish, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. What really stood out was the host's hospitality, they were incredibly responsive and helpful with local tips. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
