Family-friendly holiday rentals in Zedelgem

Veronique and Luc's lodge is a dream! We didn't leave them all the time to explore the area as originally planned, but enjoyed the fantastic location in the polders and the tranquility! The crowning glory was then the daily jacuzzi bath in the sunset. I'm sure we'll be back!

This was a very good location. The apartment even had a nice balcony. The place was close to trams to train station and walkable to all historic sites in town. Plenty of good restaurants as well. Ghent is a fantastic place to base your travels out of! We loved this little city and stayed an extra couple of days.

We spent a weekend with a group of 8 adults and 7 children. We found a beautiful house clean, welcoming, warm and with a beautiful garden in which the kids had fun playing. It has everything you need for toddlers with high chairs and umbrella beds. The hot tub was much appreciated by everyone:) There are clear instructions throughout the house. In short, a great 2 day stay. Too bad we only stayed one weekend!

A wonderful place to work and stay

Our stay was perfect! Accommodation as described. Peaceful environment 2 steps from the sea, ideally placed for walks!

We were welcomed and the listing is as described. It's just missing a photo, or you can see the pool in front of the owners' terrace. For the rest, the small living room of the accommodation is well separated, as well as the outdoor area with hot tub and dining table. The interior was clean and well-equipped. I recommend it. There's a lot to do in this area. Thanks to Christophe and family

A lovely place, beautiful garden and cute cottage to stay a few days! Perfect location, close to nice cities but also nature. Good combination for us!

This place is highly recommended! This cottage is absolutely adorable, it sits beside Dominique and Alain's house on a cute little pond. There are cats and geese and ducks wandering around, but they didn't make any noise at all! Inside, the cottage is so clever in the layout, with everything you need, from kitchen supplies (vinegar, oil, salt, sugar) to blankets and thick towels. The bed was very comfortable and the Vellux blinds kept it very dark upstairs. Alain gave me tips on hiking (I did the Ballade des Katts walk to the monastery directly from the path beside the property). The local beer in the fridge was a very nice touch and the WiFi worked perfectly, which was good because the cell reception was patchy. The landscape is beautiful and the WWI sights are poignant and well signposted. Don't miss the daily 8 pm commemoration for the fallen in Ypres at the Menon Gate. When the bagpipes played Amazing Grace, there were tears...

Together with friends / 6 people /we had the pleasure to stay at your place. Without a doubt, the property deserves a special mention. Everything was clean, the rooms are spacious and bright. The Mawghan & Berten have really thought of everything: a well-equipped kitchen, plenty of towels, cleaning supplies and even all kinds of games for long evenings. Mawghan & Berten responded very quickly to our messages and answered all our questions extensively. The property is at the border of the blue parking zone / 4 hours free with parking disc / and the green zone where you can park for free/ about 5 minutes walk /. Within a 5-minute walk there are shops such as Lidl, Aldi and more, so shopping is no problem at all. It's about a 30 minute walk to downtown / Grote Markt /. We definitely recommend this place and we will definitely come back.

We stayed at Irene's place for 3 nights and it was definitely worth it. It is a nice and especially cozy stay where everything you would need is. Nice underfloor heating for the cold days!! Central location in a quiet area where there is something to see in all directions. It has definitely been worthwhile for us!!!

Margaret and Freddy make you feel right at home. The location is a gem, secluded fields, horses and not far from Sluis and Breskens. Workshops and custom menus are also available. Western horseback riding is highly recommended! Thank you for your hospitality! Highly recommended!

What a fantastic experience! Our stay at this Airbnb was really great. The cottage was very clean, taken care of to the last detail – you immediately felt that they work here with love. The location is wonderfully quiet, ideal for completely relaxing after a day out. Nevertheless, everything you want to see or do is close by: sights, cozy restaurants are all easily accessible. The friendly operator also deserves a special mention – super hospitable you immediately feel welcome. In short, highly recommended.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this cozy house where everything you might need is present, and so much more! We were also received very hospitably, very nice to start our holiday ☺️ It's really recommended here! Everything is within walking distance and super convenient that you can leave the car in the driveway. We would love to come back here again!

It was very nice staying with Silvia. The house is perfectly furnished, you have everything you need. Good beds, well appointed kitchen. You are immediately in nature, we did 2 very nice walks starting from the Airbnb. Highly recommended!

Hello, we just spent a week of peaceful vacation in De Haan, it's what we were looking for, the apartment is faithful to the photos, in a very quiet residence, the apartment is close to shops, the forest and the sea, we did everything on foot.

This is a great place. It’s so, so close to the main square and easily walkable to any area of Bruges. The apartment is spacious, well equipped and tastefully decorated. A laundry (with two washers and two dryers), “Honesty Bar”, filled with wine and beer, DVD center is in the same building just two doors down. This apartment is located on the second floor (third floor by US standards) but is well worth it for the location.

We've been there for the second time, this time with our daughter. The place was wonderful, we had everything we needed. It is quiet , peaceful and rural location. Ideal for children, they can play alone in the garden, there are some animals to see around the house (deer, chickens and sheep) and you are very quickly on the beach or in Middleburg. Marieke and her family are incredibly warm and took good care of us. They were also interested and open hosts. We would come back back. Thank you for everything!

We felt very comfortable in the small cozy apartment! Great equipped, with everything you need - also for the little ones with (somewhat outdated) toys and plenty of utensils for kids. Especially great was the beautiful view of the green space, the tranquility and the bikes with a child seat (unfortunately already quite attacked - had to mend once), with which we could explore the magnificent and versatile environment!! Thank you very much for everything 🤗 We will be happy to come back.

We had a wonderful stay at Dominique's 5th floor apartment. It was bright & airy & we felt at home immediately. The views are great & the large balcony is perfect for the afternoon sun/sunsets. There is also a 2nd balcony for the sunrise! And you can walk to the beach for these too, in only 15 minutes. The heated swimming pools(adult & baby pools)are a real hit. The large pool is very rarely busy. We loved it! You need to wear swimming caps, but once bought that wasn't a problem, as everyone wears one. They can be purchased in the small office in the pool apartment block. There are shops & restaurants within walking distance. The tram stop & train station are a 10 minute walk. We took a tram to Oostende & a train to Bruges. Fares are inexpensive. Kitchen facilities are excellent, coffee N'Espresso machine with pods & biscuits to start us off! A nice touch. Dominique is a very responsive & attentive host. Beds were very comfy. We had a really great stay. Just book it!!

Honestly, no complaints. We were very well hosted , the accommodation is clean, well arranged and very well equipped. When you have a question, we'll answer you within 5 minutes. The pool is beautiful, very hot, very clean and very large , my 4 year old daughter loved it. There are even children's games outdoors. It's really great for a family vacation. We were able to go to the sea because the weather was nice ( 50 min drive ) and the northern beaches are beautiful. The people who hold the cottage are adorable and fold in 4 to make you feel good. I recommend 1000%

We have a wonderful stay behind the back in Martine's home. Everything was super clear to welcome. The large spacious kitchen and the extra fridge made sure we had enough space to tidy everything up nicely. It really felt like a home. All the amenities for the kids are great, from games to dining chair and plates. Really great! Highly recommended! We are already looking into our agendas for a next date for staying in this cottage! An extra plus, you can go to the restaurant for breakfast, very easy the last day of our stay!

Ann was a wonderful hostess. We were made very welcome and given all the information we could ask for on our arrival. The room was lovely and spacious. Light and airey and very peaceful. A nice shower, great cooking facilities and a super comfy king size bed. Would definitely recommend. Ideal location on the outskirts of Ypres and a scenic walk along the lake took about 40 minutes to get to Ypres from Zillebeke. Safe storage for our bikes and offered facilities to clean them even though we didn’t make use of it. There’s some great cycle routes nearby. Thank you.
