You can sit in the terrace and enjoy the sounds of birds, our lovely pets walking in front of the house. Our house is fully equipped with a queen size bed with amazing sunset views, a nice double person bath looking over our garden, a fully equipped kitchen. We are located very close to Bruges and to the coast with a lot of places to walk around in pure nature.

Welcome to the Nichoir, a small independent studio located in the heart of a charming farmhouse. With a preserved character, this small unique space offers tasteful decor and a warm atmosphere. Nestled under the attics you will find a bedroom with a shower room. On the ground floor, a toilet, a small kitchen and dining area. Let yourself be amazed by the nature, peace and quiet in the unique Meers Cabin, and all this in comfort. Wake up with a pristine wide view of the drowned meadows (Meersen) and fields; changing to the rhythm of the seasons. Enjoy the spectacle of the fluttering singing skylark, the happy chirping of swallows as night falls. Lie down on the jetty, get into the boat to just float on the natural pond. Hike, bike, swim or just do nothing.

It's a very quiet place, close to nature, in the middle of the "Monts des Flandres". Rest, hiking or sightseeing: everyone will find it's own. Near Belgium: Ypres (WW1 commemorations) at 30 min. The house is in the heart of nature: in the middle of a meadow, close to tall trees and a water point. A peaceful, relaxing place. An ideal base for hikes or to more touristic sites. Beautiful fully renovated farmhouse located in the center of a charming small village close to all amenities: bakery, supermarket, pharmacy… Frelinghien is on the Belgian border, located 15 minutes' drive from Lille and 1 hour from Bruges. The accommodation is located in front of a sports complex, on the edge of lys, near a pretty wooded park and an equestrian center: perfect for spending good times with family!

We have renovated this farmhouse and are happy to make our studio located on the second floor of our house available. We hope to offer you a cozy little cocoon.
