Historical features – beautiful parquet flooring, fireplace – combined with high ceilings and a spacious layout. Perfect for quiet solo travelers or couples, and lovers of historic buildings. The apartment is in the heart of the old town of Bern, which is a Unesco World Heritage Site. It is a 15-minute walk or 2 tram or bus stops from the main train station. In the immediate vicinity there are many cafes, restaurants and shopping, as well as sights and museums. Access to the apartment is via one of the oldest staircases in the city and is only accessible via this staircase. Paid parking is available on the street below, 100 to 250 m away.

Tiny Old Town Studio

This modernly renovated studio is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. One of the walls is more than 500 years old and consists of stones whose origins date back to Roman times. The studio is located in the heart of the old town, yet offers a quiet retreat. The studio has a 160 cm double bed, a fully equipped kitchenette, a bathroom with shower and washing machine/tumble dryer, and is designed for a maximum of 2 guests, including infants/children.

Spacious Loft with Garden Seating Area

The spacious loft (45m2) offers sleeping accomodation for 3 people, a small kitchen and a small bathroom. It is located in an historical building in a quiet side street in the Breitenrain district. The loft is whithin 15 minutes walking distance from the train station and the old town. The bus station (Lorraine) is within a 2 minutes walk. In the neighbourhood there are grocery stores and restaurants in all price categories.

Entire, comfortable apartment for 1-6 persons in a historic building in the heart of the Bernese Old Town. Private bathroom. 10 minutes walk to Bern main train station, 5 minutes to Zytglogge and the Einsteinhaus; seconds to dozens of shops, restaurants and the Bernese night life, but also only 5 minutes to the Aare, or the famous Bear park. The apartment has 2 separate parts (see below for details). There is no elevator.

The apartment is on the third floor and is very quiet. From the main train station in Bern, the apartment can be reached on foot in 10 minutes or by bus no. 12 in 4 minutes. The public town hall parking is about 200 m away.

Our accommodation is just a few minutes away from the center of Bern. Zytglogge, Old Town or Münster, you will be there in about 10-15 minutes by feet. The apartment has a double bed (160cm wide) and an optional 90cm mattress. You can ask for an air mattress (140cm wide) if you prefer it. The house has a garden, which can be used as well.
