This vacation home has recently been completely renovated and is therefore equipped with every comfort. The house has a lovely spacious garden with lots of privacy and parking space. Inside, you can enjoy a warm bath or light the wood stove comfortably. The forest and two natural swimming lakes are less than 10 minutes' walk away, where you can enjoy hiking, mountain biking and swimming. Since the cottage is on a cozy campsite (De Lente van Drenthe), there are many amenities just around the corner.

Welkom in het bosrijke Exloo, gelegen op de Hondsrug in Drenthe. Wij wonen zelf in het monumentale treinstation van Exloo uit 1903, aan de NOLS spoorlijn, van Zwolle tot Delfzijl. deze spoorlijn is opgericht in 1899 en opgeheven in 1945. Deze spoorlijn is nu een mooi wandelpad! Naast ons huis staat een geheel vrijstaande en gloednieuw gerenoveerde woning van 2 verdiepingen met genoeg privacy en eigen ingang voor max. 6 pers. Er is gratis parkeerruimte, en een eigen terras in gehele privacy.

In de omgeving vind je de mogelijkheid voor veel activiteiten zoals natuur, wandelen, zwemmen, kanovaren, vissen, golfen, paardrijden, museumbezoek, winkel en horeca bezoek, steden, fietsen en minigolf. The ground floor is wheelchair friendly. Outside, there is plenty of space to sit, whether in the sun or not. Nieuw Buinen is about 15 minutes by bike from Borger, where fairs and flea markets are regularly held in the summer. Walking and cycling routes. Swimming pool nearby. Rural location. Ontdek onze knusse little green cabin in Borger, gelegen op loopafstand van het dorp en met een prachtig uitzicht over de Hondsrug. Overnacht in een charmante cabin met vrij uitzicht. Borger ligt vlakbij de bossen en heide, ideaal voor natuurliefhebbers en wandelaars! Verken de omgeving via diverse wandelroutes zoals het Pieterpad en het Drenthepad. Voor wandelaars is er vervoer beschikbaar. Op loopafstand vind je ook het Hunebed Museum, dat een bezoek zeker waard is.

On the edge of this quiet chalet park lies this nice cottage with lots of privacy. Put on your hiking shoes as you walk straight into the woods and heathlands from the park. Or pick up 1 of the 2 bikes that are ready for you. Under the starry sky you will fire your own fire and have breakfast on the veranda in the morning.

Our guest house is located in a beautiful spot on the Hondsrug. Here you are surrounded by nature: ancient woods, sandy paths, rolling fields, squirrels, deer and a wide variety of birds. Within walking distance of the cozy Gieten with delicious fresh bread or a Gieterkoek at the bakery. Here you will find the supermarket and nice restaurants. By bike, you can reach the Drenthe state forests with the beautiful Gasselterveld, Boomkroonpad and ancient megalithic tombs.

Assen and Groningen are 17 km away with many cultural possibilities such as the Groninger museum or a day of shopping. By bus you will be at the HS in Groningen in 17 minutes.
