Holiday rentals in Aarau District

The house is sublime, the photos do not show enough what it is in real life. A very large house, with a view from above that is beautiful. We loved the stay and our movie nights thanks to the video projector 💫

Esther and Peter are very friendly and hospitality. Their lovely property is a detached house, we live on the first floor with shared entrance with them. The first floor flat is spacious, bright, warm and clean. It has everything we need for we cook several breakfast and dinners there. The neighbourhood is beautiful and quiet; the nearest supermarket is about 5 mins by walking. The location is about less than one hour driving to Luzern and Zurich, while more than an hour to Rhine Fall. It is a good place for you to explore that area of Switzerland by driving. We will come back again and highly recommended this place.

Highly recommended! Feels very homey & lots of places to chill

We had a wonderful time in the cottage in Oberfeld! My husband, son and I were absolutely delighted – it was an unforgettable stay. Our host and her family were incredibly warm and welcoming. Every morning we got fresh bread, eggs and milk directly from the farm – a real highlight! The apartment was very clean, cozy and furnished with a lot of love for detail. It was especially nice that we were able to see the sheep up close and even watch and pet while milking – a great experience, especially for our son. The surroundings are fantastically beautiful – perfect for relaxing and enjoying. We highly recommend this place and would love to come back anytime. Thank you for everything!

The place is great! It has everything it needs, is very clean and the location perfect if you want to explore Aarau. The bed is super comfy. Highly recommend the place.

This place suited all my needs. It is close the the forest with walking trails. It takes 2 minutes to the bus station where 2 buses depart every 30 minutes and only take 5-8mins.( depending on which bus) to downtown. The suite is in a very quiet and safe area, surrounded by lovely gardens. The suite had everything one needs and then some and was squeaky clean. I like that it had a motion detector and surveillance camera, being an older female solo traveler this gave me sense of security. Roger and his wife Sandra have a beautiful and modern guest house. From the reception to the end, the two were always extremely polite, helpful and accommodating. The guest house is more than big enough and also offers corresponding privacy - 10 out of 10 recommendations!

Monika was very helpful and flexible, as we arrived much later...we confused the Thalheim with the Thalheim an der Thur... The incredibly quiet and fantastic location made our stay a special experience, we enjoyed it very much...

I can warmly recommend Nicole's place. This was my second time staying at the property. The apartment is clean, kitchen well equipped and the large terrace with the beautiful view always makes the stay special. The contact with Nicole goes smoothly. I always like to come back ☺️
