Cathie and Michael are very friendly and super considerate, we have our 2yr old daughter with us and they let us stay even though the house is not kids friendly. The house is nice and super cozy very peaceful place and beautiful surroundings. We really enjoyed being away from the city and just had a lovely 4 days. Also Cathie is such a lovely lady, I left my usb in the tv and she just posted it to me the next day. Definitely recommend it to my family and friends.

We had a lovely relaxing stay at Fiona & Lar’s Merlewood. Our accommodation was spotless, & very cosy. The roomy cottage was surrounded by beautiful peaceful Australian countryside. Bed was incredibly comfortable and large. Nights were spent cooking a meal, followed by a spa one night, and movie. Mornings were enjoyed taking in the beautiful sun filled view from every room after opening the blinds. Followed by a walk up the back hill, a sit on the deck, a sight seeing by car to Alexandra for lunch at the large cafe there, and enjoyed hiring a kayak at Jerusalem Creek to paddle around Eildon weir. Another day we drove to Yarck and purchased some essential oiled natural skin products at DINDI. There was also Op shop visits in Alexandra & Yea where we found a couple of bargains. This is the perfect place for a couple to unwind, & take in the scenery & tranquility, and use as a base to explore the region. Thanks Fiona & Lars making this lovely stay possible.

Leanne & David from Elite Stays were warm, welcoming, and quick to respond to any questions we had. We were greeted on arrival, making us feel instantly at home. The accommodation was beautiful - bed was a dream to sleep in, and we had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend away. The space well-equipped and surrounded by nature at its finest. The views overlooking the Cathedral Ranges are absolutely breathtaking — especially at sunset. This spot is a stone’s throw from the Cathedral Ranges State Park, making it the perfect please adventurers looking to hike or explore the surrounding region. The highlight of our stay was Izzy, the gorgeous and well-mannered Labrador, who happily joined us on walks and was the perfect companion for a drink on the deck. It's no wonder Hanna's place gets so many positive reviews with high star ratings. It is a lovely flat on the end of her home and it is tastefully decorated, set in beautiful gardens, comes with breakfast provisions, fireplace, and spa, is private, has a river (not big, it's stream sized) at the end of the garden, and it has Hanna; a hostess extraordinaire. There is road noise, but it didn't bother us during our three night midweek stay. Wish we could have stayed longer.
